  • Demolition of 8 existing buildings (excluding the three contributory buildings within the Old Tote Heritage Conservation Area). Construction of a new part 4 and part 8 storey building consisting of 303 dwellings incorporating a total of 1,030 beds for students and visiting staff & associated administrative/retail uses.

  • facilities will also include specialty shops/cafes 150sq m, admin area 280sq m, amenities/laundries 125sq m & 2 e libraries with computer, lounge & reception areas.
  • The apartments will be environmentally sustainable with a 5 star NSW Building And Sustainability Index.
  • Construction features will include thermomass walls & hollow core floor slabs.
  • There will also be solar boosted gas hot water systems & grey water treatment for laundries.
  • Ground and basement levels car parking for 74 vehicles.
  • Provision of associated servicing, landscaping and public domain works

  • The successful Consortium is CLV/AMPCI (Campus Living Villages) which is owned by Transfield.
