Portion 2 refers to an approximately 740m stretch of road located between the ACT & Queanbeyan in NSW.
- Portion 2 of the upgrade & duplication of Lanyon Dr consists of: duplication of Lanyon Drive to create a new 2 lane west-bound carriageway with associated on-road cycling provisions to the south of the exiting road alignment.
- Construction of a 2 lane concrete bridge across Jerrabomberra Creek to the south of the existing bridge.
- Excavation & earthworks associated with the construction of the road & the bridge.
- Upgrading of the existing Lanyon Dr carriageway to form a new 2 lane east-bound only carriageway.
- Widening if the existing bridge over Jerrabomberra Creek on Lanyon Drive.
- Construction of stormwater & drainage.
- Landscaping.
- Construciton of associated ancillary features such as safety barriers & fencing.
