Upgrade of the West Cliff Washery over the life of the Bulli Seam Operations Project to handle up to 105Mtpa throughput.
- To include installation of new components such as rotary breaker & screen house, coarse & fine coal storage bins, triple roll crusher, small coal circuit modules (eg desliming screens, primary & secondary cyclones, centrifuges), flotation cells & a teetered bed separator, coal & tailings thickeners, belt filters & tailings presses.
- Replacement of the existing Baum jig with a dense medium drum.
- Upgrades of existing conveyor systems, piping, pumps, sumps, safety & auxiliary systems.
- Upgrades of power supply systems to provide additional capacity & back up supply.

August 2010 Transfield Services awarded a $38million, 10 month construction contract for the washery upgrade project.
