• The Southern Tasmanian Councils Authority (STCA) and the Department of Economic Development, Tourism and the Arts are jointly funding the project.
• It will include an analysis of demand and supply of industrial land in Southern Tasmania and the identification of potential new industrial land sufficient to meet demand over the 5, 15 and 30 year time horizons.
• The project is an adjunct to the Southern Tasmania Regional Planning Project.

• The successful consultant will have demonstrated experience and knowledge in demand and supply analysis, strategic land use planning generally and industrial land planning in particular.
• They will also have a sound understanding of the Resource Management and Planning System of Tasmania, the ability to work effectively with Local Government and consult with a range of stakeholders including State Agencies, infrastructure providers and industry groups.
• Submissions must respond to the brief provided in the information package and should highlight any particular areas of expertise, previous projects demonstrating experience and must provide details of key staff along with hourly rates.
