The Principal invites tenders for the provision of new underground drainage within Willaston.
- The Willaston Stormwater Upgrade - Stage 1 Project is a key part of Councils infrastructure improvements within Willaston & is intended to benefit the community by reducing the risk of road & property inundations through the provision of an efficient delivery system.
The works proposed will ensure that the Princess St basin performance will increase from below a 1 in 5 year to well in excess of a 1 in 20 year standard.
- This has been developed taking into consideration typical engineering practices of a 1 in 5 year model for the proposed underground pipe network.
The scope includes:
a) Duplication of an existing underground drain along Drury St;
b) The installation of new underground drains within Davies St, Bond St & Jane St; &
c) Implementation of environmental improvements to the existing Princess St basin.
