  • The Principal invites tenders from Tenderers for the supply & installation of four (4) Caravan Park Cabins at the Marion Bay Caravan Park.
  • Specifications for the Services: Provision of four (4) two (2) bedroom caravan park cabins: 1) Built in accordance with the Development Act, 1993, including the Building rules (National Construction Code); 2) Building work to include installation & tie downs of the buildings (if applicable); 3) All interiors to be painted in a relevant washable paint; 4) Any paint used on the exterior of the building should be appropriate for external conditions; 5) Interior & Exterior lighting as required; 6) Suitable flooring provided (vinyl, carpet, timber planks etc.); 7) Hardwired & interconnected smoke detectors to be fitted in accordance with the National Construction Code & AS 3786-2014; 8) Appropriate cooling & heating; 9) Each Cabin is to contain the following rooms: i) Lounge/Dining Room; ii) Kitchen; iii) Bathroom including toilet (may be separate); iv) Main Bedroom suitable for a queen size bed; v) Second Bedroom suitable for two (2) sets of double bunks; vi) Suitable space for laundry/washing machine.
  • 10) Built in storage & wardrobes; 11) Waterproofing of wet areas in accordance with the National Construction Code & AS 370-2010; 12) Plumbing to all hot & cold water points; 13) Appropriate Tapware relevant to the cabin requirements; 14) Hot Water Service; 15) Exhaust fan over shower & in kitchen area; 16) Towel rails, toilet seat etc.
  • in bathroom area; 17) Fly screens on all windows & doors; 18) Powder coated aluminium sliding windows & doors with key locks to all windows & doors; 19) Power Points as relevant; 20) Energy efficiency complying with the National Construction Code; 21) Appropriate Electrical Meter Box & Safety Switches; 22) Television Point; 23) Sewerage Connection points as requested; 24) Relevant access & egress including steps & ramps; 25) Certificate(s) of Compliance from licenced tradespersons to be provided upon completion of work.
  • 26) Two (2) of the cabins supplied must be accessible in accordance with Part D3 of Volume 1 of the National Construction Code; 27) Any additional requirements are to be outlined within the tender: a) Council & Building Fees; b) Preparation of documentation & lodgement of development application; c) Preparation of documentation & lodgement of wastewater application; d) Relevant footing requirements; e) Any transport costs; f) Whether or not sewerage connection is included; g) Whether or not electrical connection is included: h) Whether or not water connection is included; i) If crane hire is required or other moving equipment costs are necessary; j) Any site preparation requirements.
  • 28) Specify applicable warranty periods; 29 Cabins are to be completed & Certificates of Occupancy issued prior to Monday, 30th November 2015.
