- Reorganise interior of existing library to include area for Internet access, separate reading areas for adults & children, relocation of distribution desk, provision for toilet facilities.
- Adults reading area will feature lounge chairs, also local history area for research.
- Upgrade comprises internal upgrade & alterations to layout & facilities of existing single storey library, with some external additions, to allow combined school & community use.
- Construction incorporates external siteworks, concreting, brickwork, plumbing, electrical/electronic, mechanical, joinery, carpentry & painting.
- The library will remain in use during works.

- Tenders were only considered from DAIS tenderers who were Prequalified General Builders Contractors in Category 4 at time tenders closed.
