Erect a 2 storey building for the purpose of bulky goods retailing.
- The development would have a total floor area of 37,163 sq m & a total of 844 carparking spaces are proposed largely forward of the building toward Bay St.
- Forty two tenancies are proposed ranging in size from 51 sq m to 2710 sq m.
- There are also 4 kiosks (in area of 5 sq m each) & one cafe proposed.
- Internally the building has a central atrium from which access is gained to all tenancies & 2 escalators are provided to connect the ground & first floors.
- The proposed building would have a maximum height of 12 m above ground level.
- The building would be constructed of pre-cast panels with expressed joints featuring applied cement panels, glazing, steel framing & awnings.
- Landscaping is proposed along the frontage of the site to Bay Rd, scattered throughout the carpark & along the side & rear boundaries of the site.
- Incorporated into the landscaping adjacent to the canal is a pedestrian & bicycle pathway, entering the site near the end of Production Rd.
