Construction of a cement terminal including ship unloading equipment & pneumatic convey pipes, 40,000T of storage silo, despatch silos for loading bulk tankers, warehouse & bagging facility for despatch of bagged cement.
- The proposed terminal will have a design capacity of 500,000T with an expected annual bulk product throughput of 360,000T.
- Key features of the development include: a terminal to provide for unloading of self discharging and standard bulk vessels; a purpose built unloader and closed screw conveyor, complete with environmental controls; a series of pipes to provide for bulk dispatch into sealed road tankers; a warehouse to provide storage of bagged product; and 2 silos adjacent to the on site warehouse where products will be bagged and palletised for distribution.
