The construction of a new office building to be located on the north-eastern edge of the site with a setback of approximately 10 metres from McPherson St.
- The office space with a new kitchen, toilet facilities, reception & drivers room measuring 195.6sq m.
- The construction of a new workshop on the north-eastern edge of the site for the servicing & maintenance of buses.
- Adjacent to the new workshop will be the new fuel tank, washbay, storage area & toilet.
- The new workshop will be used for minor repairs.
- the workshop has an area of 635sq m & is also setback 10 metres from both Excell & McPherson Sts.
- The risk assessment indicates that the fuel tank is 1 by 23,6000 litre above ground diesel double walled storage tank with associated pump & pipework.
- The office & workshop will be constructed of a steel frame with colourbond graffiti resistant steel walls & roof in neutral colours.
- The building will contain limited glazing & therefore reflectivity will be low, the office is 2.9 metres in height to the base of the roofline.
- All storage areas, including fuel storage is contained within the workshop building.
