Construction of a 31 metre high S1 Operational Doppler Radar facility for the Bureau of Meteorology.
- The proposed facility includes: an access road, radar pedestal & antenna; radome (a 11.8 metre diameter white fibreglass dome to house the S1 radar); steel cylindrical tower; small equipment building of pre-finished colourbond sheeting at the base of the tower to house the radar system electronics; stand-by generator (stainless steel acoustic enclosure) bunded to contain potential spillage of fuel; small carpark hardstand; level gravel assembly area; security fence gates & provision of mains power & communication services
