Civil/Electrical Works project at between Grahams Valley Rd & the Gwydir Hwy, (20km west of), Glen Innes, NSW 2370 in the Public Utilities (Power stations, Substations, Windfarms, Phone exchanges). All electrical & civil works for construction of overall 1 project comprising 19 turbine wind farm & associated infrastructure. The wind farm would include a transmission line connecting it either to the TransGrid 132kV line to the north of the site or to the TransGrid 330kV line to west of the site. The turbines could be placed along a series of ridge lines & surrounding hilltops. The wind farm has the capacity to generate in excess of 30 megawatts. Each turbine has 3 blades mounted on a tubular steel tower of up to 100 metres high, with a combined height of a blade & tower restricted to a maximum tip height of up to 152 metres & an adjacent pad mounted turbine transformer, crane hardstand are & related turbine laydown area. Construction of a 132kV switchyard at the connection point to the Transgrid transmission line & a 132kV substation onsite. Electrical connection between wind turbines & the on-site substation, which would be a combination of underground of underground cables & overhead powerlines linking sections of the site.
