SMALL DIESEL POWER STATION
Small Diesel Power Station is currently at the Planning stage, valued at about $ 15000000 it is Option 1. Construct new powerstation on the Greenfield site, identical in design & functionality to existing powerstation upgraded to current Australian Standards. The layout of the new station may need to be altered to suit the topology of the new site. The new station would comprise three 200kVA diesel gensets with allowance for a future fourth set, a control room, switchoard, fuel tanks with allowance for a future third 55,000 litre tank & step up transformers. The station site will need to be fenced. The distribution works outside the fence will be constructed by others. Option 2. Relocate the existing powerstation to the new Greenfield site while maintaining electricity supply to the community. Temporary gensets will be requried during the relocation process. The relocation shall be carried out with minimum disruption of supply to the community. Option 3 Design & construct a new powerstation on the Greenfield site delivering the exsiting functionality using alternative designs to the existing sation with the purpose of delivering the elst cost option. A number of options may be developed to ensure the required functionality will be delivered. These various options should then be costed in detail to identify the least cost compliant option. All designs must comply to all applicable Ausralian Standards and Workplace Health & Safety requirements for the state of Queensland. CAVAL RIDGE COAL PROJECT - COAL PREPARATION PLANT & RAIL FACILITIES
Mining - Civil Services (Rail loops, Track work, Signalling, Rolling stock, Switching yards) project at 16km south of, Moranbah, QLD 4744 of Coal Preparation Plant/Rail Loadout/Conveyor/Roads type of New development. The proposed Caval Ridge CHPP will have a nominal feed capacity of 2 000 t/h and is capable of processing 14-16 Mt/a to produce a nominal 8 Mt/a of hard coking coal, 5.5 Mt/a of which will be sourced from the Caval Ridge Mine & the balance to come by conveyor from the expanded Peak Downs mine. The facility shall operate seven days per week on a continuous basis. The CHPP will consist of: ROM dump hopper for primary sizing; secondary and tertiary sizers with intermediate screening; raw coal stockpiles with mechanised stacking and reclaim facilities; 2 module coal preparation plant, nominally 1000 tph, per module; product coal stockpiles with mechanised stacking and reclaim facilities; train loadout to the north of the Peak Downs Highway, a conveyor will transport material crossing the highway; reject bin and handling system and ultrafine tailings dewatering system. Water supply to be a combination of site water reuse & a raw water supply via a new off take pipeline from existing bulk pipelines. Process plant water will be recycled to minimise raw water make-up requirements for the site. The product coal will be railed approximately 185km to the Hay Point and/or Dalrymple Bay coal terminals for shipment. Click for more details...
