COMMUNICATIONS UPGRADE & REPLACEMENT PROGRAM
Civil Work project at throughout NSW, ., NSW 2999 In The Council Area Of Various of State. The Communications Upgrade and Replacement Project comprises a number of individual Sub-Projects. It is intended that all Sub-Projects will be undertaken by the successful Applicant. The scope of work for the Project includes the installation, testing, configuration and commissioning of approximately 37 microwave communications links, including approximately 37 new communication support structures (both lattice towers and poles, with some towers up to 80 m in height) and ancillaries (communication buildings, access roads, site fencing etc). The other element of the project is completion of 107 km of OPGW links in the southern region of NSW on existing transmission towers with all stringing to be under outage conditions. The work covers the replacement of the existing Overhead Earth Wire (OHEW) with 24 fibre Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) on 330 kV single circuit steel transmission line towers and the installation, testing and commissioning of Optical Line Terminal Equipment (OLTE) at all sites involved.
