A range of housing types is envisaged. Some land owned by the Department of Planning is likely to be set aside for conservation purposes. The rezoning of the site will assist in delivering the housing and employment targets as set out in the draft Central Coast Regional Strategy and Metropolitan Development Program by providing housing for 4000 to 5000 residents.
