The major component of the upgrading of the existing building will be the removal of the existing roof top addition and the construction of a new addition. The extension will consist of a double layered façade acting as both an acoustic buffer and as a heat trap while enabling natural ventilation. The extension will provide two levels of commercial accommodation and will retain the existing rooftop terrace and POPE venue.
