CAIRN HILL MAGNETITE COPPER GOLD PROJECT
Resource - Copper/Gold/Magnetite project at Stuart Highway 55 Km South East of, Coober Pedy, SA 5723 in the Mining - Primary And Secondary Processing (Minerals Processing). Resource of 10.5million tonnes indicated & 4.2million tonnes inferred of ore @ 51.9% Fe, 0.4% Cu, 0.12g/t Au. Phase 1 of the mine operations to consist of 2 open pits located to extract the northern and southern mineralisations. The project will initially involve a trial mining operation to remove and crush 20 000 tonnes of ore in order to refine engineering parameters. The main mining operation will then involve mining of an estimated 7.3 million tonnes of reserves in the western portion of the ML area, using open pit techniques. The project will involve on-site crushing with direct export of ore for processing. The ore will be transported in bulk by road to a proposed new rail siding (the Mast) and then by rail to Darwin for export by ship. Facilities at the site will include a mobile crushing plant, two waste rock dumps, diesel power plant and reverse osmosis plant. Associated infrastructure will include a water supply borefield and a site access/haulage road to the proposed rail siding. Phase 2 will target low copper & sulphur magnetite deposits immediately to the east of Phase 1 activity. Phase 3 involves expansion further east again. Detailed aeromagnetic surveys have identified targets for drilling to identify these easterly deposits. It is hoped these will come into operation when additional port capacity becomes available at Port Bonython or Darwin, leading to operations expanding up to 5Mtpa. Click for more details...

HARRIS STREET STORMWATER DRAINAGE PROJECT
Drainage - Stormwater New project In The Marion Council Area. The Principal invites tenders for the provision of drainage works for Harris St, Edwardstown. SCOPE OF WORK General - During moderate to heavy storm events, Castle Street exhibits very wide kerbside channel flows. The worst case of this is just east of Towers Terrace. The main factors contributing to this are: a) Amounts of stormwater received from the contributing catchment area; b) Narrow width of the carriageway and road reserve; c) Lack of stormwater drainage infrastructure; & d) Flat grades. Because of the narrow carriageway, passing motor vehicles travelling west tend to generate a wake in the street stormwater that overtops the footpath and enters into private properties. This is particularly prevalent with properties just east of Towers Terrace. Unfortunately, the existing pipe stub provided in Wheaton Street is not able to be utilised for this project due to the numerous underground services in the way. An alternative alignment has therefore been nominated to essentially achieve similar outcomes. The branch that shall be provided (further east) will extend north from the trunk drain in St Lawrence Avenue into Harris Street. Whilst services are still difficult to avoid, the design of the selected alignment will make the proposed system more feasible to construct. Location of Work Site - The work site is located along Harris Street and Castle Street, Edwardstown. Works Included - The work includes, but is not limited to, the following for the project: 1) Supply project specific management plans, to be approved by the Principal prior to starting work , which will include the following: a) A Risk Assessment for the proposed work and an associated Risk Management Plans. b) A Traffic and Pedestrian Management Plans. c) An Environmental Management Plans. d) Resident/stakeholder communication plan (prior to commencement of work and daily communications). e) Construction of Harris St, Edwardstown, Stormwater Drainage Project. f) Clean up of site including removal of all surplus materials. & g) Provide a twelve (12) month defect liability period from the date of practical completion, as accepted by Council.
