WETLAND 156 TREATMENT SYSTEM
Wetland Treatment System project at ., Cranebrook, NSW 2749 In The Council Area Of Penrith of Local Govt. Construction of wetland treatment system to improve water quality within "Wetland 156". Scope of work involves: the diversion of stormwater flows from an existing stormwater system, to a new treatment wetland to be constructed within the northern extents of Wetland 156. Construction of the new diversion pipeline will include trenching & supply & installation of pits and pipes, avoiding any existing services; the diversion pipeline will require the removal & reconstruction of a section of the existing concrete shared path. Construction of the swale will require excavation & formation of a compacted clay bund near the base of the existing slope. The construction of the treatment wetland will require construction of a bund at the western side and southern sides of the wetland. Construction of the new outlet pipeline will include trenching & supply & installation of pits and pipes, and crosses a number of existing services; the outlet pipeline will require the removal & reconstruction of a section of the existing concrete shared path as well as rectification to any damage to Cranebrook Rd. new stabilised crushed sandstone footpath is to be constructed on top of the new treatment wetland bund; a new reinforced concrete footpath is to be constructed on the swale bund.
