LOXTON PLAYGROUND AMENITIES BLOCK
Kokoda Tce, Loxton, SA 5333 Has Loxton Playground Amenities Block currently at Construction stage. The Principal invites tenders for the provision of a New Amenities Block at Loxton Playground in Kokoda Tce, Loxton SA 5333. Scope involves supply & install of a new Amenities Block at the above site location including: 1) Option 1 - 3 x Unisex disabled friendly access toilets with baby change stations & other standard accessories installed on a concrete slab on site; 2) Option 2 - 4 x Unisex disabled friendly access toilets with baby change stations & other standard accessories installed on a concrete slab on site; 3) One block under single roof & floor with either all units in one row or back to back or 2x2 facing each other with corridor in between; Specification for the Goods: The main component of the project is to supply & install an Amenities Block that comprises, as a minimum, the following items: 1) Curved roof with a corridor in the front for a 3 unit option or a corridor in the centre for a 4 unit (2 each front facing) option; 2) Corridor to consist of benches, drinking water fountain for kids & adult, light, & wheel chair access to the existing concrete path; 3) Corrugated iron cladding with optional feature of timber deck cladding (or recycled plastic deck cladding) on key elevation points; 4) Additional Lower cubicle in any one of the unit for kids / toddlers; 5) Baby changing stations (foldable) in each unit; 6) All necessary disposal units/bins in each unit; 7) Standard commercial grade sanitary ware & tapware complying to all Australian Standards & in particular AH1428.1; 8) Mirror above hand basin with safety glass; 9) Electronic magnetic door closing that can be timed according to requirements & season; 10) Amenities block must incorporate Anti-vandal & anti-graffiti materials as & where possible; 11) Stainless steel internal walling preferred over tiles walls to support low-maintenance cleaning & anti-vandal; 12) Low or zero maintenance system preferred as & where possible. Tenderers to allow connecting water, power & sewer/waste connections to Council provided infrastructure within 1.0m of the toilet block building face.
