GROSVENOR COAL PROJECT
via, Moranbah, QLD 4744 Has Grosvenor Coal Project currently at Construction stage. Underground longwall mining at a rate of 7 million tonnes a year (Mtpa) for 26 years. Run-of-mine (ROM) coal to be transported by new conveyor to the adjacent Moranbah North Mine from where 5 Mtpa of product export coking coal to be transported by existing rail facilities to the Abbot Point Coal Terminal. Mining infrastructure to include a new portal entrance to the underground mine access drift, ventilation shafts, water management infrastructure, gas drainage boreholes, underground communication cables, services & boreholes for supply of materials from the surface. Associated surface infrastructure to include administration & warehouse buildings, workshop & vehicle servicing facilities, bath house & employee facilities. Also required at Moranbah North new ROM & product stockpiles at its Coal Handling & Preparation Plant (CHPP) & expansion of the Co-disposal Area (CDA) to accommodate the increase tailings & coarse rejects.
