Thackeray St Aqueduct is currently at the Construction stage, valued at about $ 400000 it is Refurbishment of the steel bridge across Parramatta River at rydalmere & the 1,200 mm watermains supporting structure & associated works. The structure is painted with lead paint, which has deteriorated & areas of steel members are exposed & heavily corroded. The protective coating to the watermains has deteriorated & is flaking. Some of the pipe joints are also leaking. The works involve refurbishment of the bridge structure, remove the lead paint, repair to leaking joints of watermains, re-painting the whole structure & watermains. GUNDAGAI WEST INTERCHANGE

Project Detail Text Construction of a bridge consisting of a 4 span prestressed concrete voided slab bridge with span lengths of 30m, 36.5m, 36.5m & 29m. The wearing course consist of a 75mm thick dense grade asphalt. The abudments consist of sill beams supported on bored reinforced concrete piles. The piers consist of single circular colums supported on bored piles socketed into rock. The voided slab is supported on pot bearings at each pier. Type F concrete traffic barriers are provided on both sides of the carriage way. Activities include piling, construction of abutments & piers, in-situ concrete pour for the superstructure, approach slabs, safety barriers & miscellaneous works. Construction a northbound ramp from West Street to the northbound carriageway of the Hume Highway. Included also will be a right turn deceleration lane & bus bay to improve safety at the existing median crossing on the Hume Highway located 1km north of the interchange. Pacific Hwy, between the Iluka Rd turn-off & Trustums Hills Rd, just south of, Woodburn, NSW 2472 Has Pacific Highway - Wells Crossing To Iluka Rd Upgrade - Devils Pulpit Project currently at Construction stage. The project involves upgrading 6.4 kilometres of the existing 2 lane/2 way highway to dual carriageway, as well as providing an additional 3.1 kilometres of separation between the existing 2 lane/2 way traffic. Proposal to upgrade a section of the Pacific Highway within the Clarence Valley & Richmond Valley local government areas to motorway standard (class M). The project is located 66 to 72.4 kms north of Grafton. The southern end of the project is about 1.2 kms south of Pine Road, Jacky Bulbin Flat and the northern end reconnects to the existing highway 200 metres north of Tabbimoble Overflow No. 2 (a distance of approximately 6.4 kms). The proposal comprises 2 sections: Section from 66 to 71 kilometres north of Grafton - Five kilometres of Class M (motorway standard) four-lane divided road (two lanes each direction), with a wide median allowing for the future addition of a third lane in each direction and a 110 km per hour posted speed limit; Retention of the existing Pacific Highway as a service road; Relocation of sections of Khans Rd & construction of new service roads to provide access to locals roads; Staging the construction & operation of this section with the likely initial stage involving five kilometres of Class A (arterial standard) road with a 100 km per hour posted speed limit, which utilises sections of the existing highway as part of the northbound carriageway, a new southbound carriageway and a rest area using part of the existing highway. Section from 71 to 72.4 kilometres north of Grafton - A 1.4 kilometre Class A (arterial standard) road with a 100 km per hour posted speed limit, which utilises the existing highway for use as the northbound carriageway & a new southbound carriageway on the eastern side with new bridges over Tabbimoble Floodways Nos 2 & 3; Staging the construction of this section with the likely initial stage involving the construction of the southbound road formation only, excluding the new bridges. Widening of the at-surface carriageway of the motorway predominantly within the existing motorway corridor, between Junction St, Auburn & Homebush Bay Dr, Homebush to provide 4 traffic lanes westbound & 4 traffic lanes eastbound. Upgrades to existing interchanges including provision of additional ramps & widening and/or lengthening of existing ramps. Construction of a new westbound G-type entry ramp to the M4 Motorway at Homebush Bay Dr. Provision for new connections at: Hill Rd - an eastbound entry ramp; Church St - westbound entry for southbound traffic on Church St ; Westmead - eastbound exit ramp.
