ADELAIDE CENTRAL MARKET CAR PARK LIGHTING UPGRADE
New project of Retail (Car parks (multi-storey)) project at 7/45 Gouger St, Adelaide, SA 5000. The Principal invites tenders for the upgrade of the existing lighting infrastructure throughout the Adelaide Central Market Car Park.
Scope:
The provision of an electrical installation that satisfies all statutory, legislative & code requirements & conforms with the general details herein. The planning, scheduling, procurement of components & their installation to meet the program. Full responsibility for the execution of the complete installation in accordance with the project specification.
The installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, service & warranty; & all sundry & material items whether mentioned in detail or not, required to complete the installation & put it into working order.
Description of the Installation:
The following works generally describe the Electrical Services installation & shall be carried out under this specification:
1) The demolition & construction of base lighting systems are to take place within levels 1 & 2 within sections of the ACM Car Park (including all ramps). Te areas of work are clearing shown on all relevant tender drawings. 2) Retain all existing exit & emergency luminaires within the area of works, including all associated wiring & controls. Ensure they remain operational while installing all new LED luminaires. 3) All works are to be completed during the period 10:00pm - 6:00am unless agreed with ACM management. Total costing of the project is to be provided on this basis. Additionally, total costing of the project is to be provided if the work were to be completed during normal working hours. 4) Installation of all new luminaires, including associated wiring systems, supports & ancillaries before decommissioning the existing fluorescent luminaire installation & commissioning the new lighting system. This is to reduce down time to the general care park lighting entirely. 5) The new lighting arrangement comprises linear LED luminaires for general lighting (3400lm on Level 1, 4800lm ON Level 2). Similar performance luminaires may be proposed for approval by the consulting engineer, which would require photometric calculations be completed to provide evidence of compliance. It is expected that a slightly differing arrangement to suit the variation of light characteristics (lumen output & distribution pattern) may be a result of these calculations. 6) High bay style of luminaires have been selected to illuminate a number of ramp areas. Flood lights have also been selected to illuminate the entry ramp from Gouger St. Alternative fittings may be proposed for approval by the consulting engineer. This would also require photometric calculation be completed to provide evidence of compliance. 7) Demolition of all existing/redundant wiring systems including co-ordination with the ACM management team. 8) Lamp recycling of all lamps removed from site. 9) Provison for installation of a power monitoring unit at each distribution board used to monitor the new general lighting system. 10) Earthing systems to all luminaires & required equipment in accordance with AS3000:2007. 11) Existing Lighting Control Panel adjacent each distribution board is to be removed, with the internal C-Bus module retained for installation in new Lighting Control Panel. 12) Power installation to all luminaires utilising 5 Pole Wiring cable system & 5 Pole, 3-way junction boxes (or approved equivalent) adjacent each luminaire. 13) RCD protection to all lighting circuits as nominated. 14) Provision & installation of an automated lighting control system throughout Levels 1 & 2. This includes numerous C-Bus Dual Motion & Daylight Sensors c/w Bus Coupler, C-Bas DALI Gateways, DALI Power Supplies & programming. 15) C- Bus cabling installed within separate conduit to each Bus Coupler/Dual Motion & Daylight Sensor. 16) Modification to all existing Distribution boards to support the ne

KADINA CENTRAL BUSINESS DISTRICT UPGRADE
Currently at the Construction stage In Copper Coast is a project estimated to be $ 1200000. This project The Principal invites tenders from suitably qualified & experienced contractors for the provision of construction of road (Frances Terrace), carpark & stormwater works as part of the Stage 1 Kadina CBD redevelopment project.
Background:
Kadina is the business & dominant shopping precinct of the Copper Coast with a population of over 5000 residents. The Kadina CBD project aims to rejuvenate the CBD by addressing issues such as access with better pedestrian movements, safety, general amenity, better traffic flows & management, storm water etc. An extensive community consultation process has been undertaken to ensure the project meets community expectations.
Scope of Works:
The scope of works would include but is not limited to :
1) preparation of management plans & QA;
2) setting out the works from established bench marks & boundaries;
3) removal of soil & rubbish;
4) primary earthworks viz. cutting, filling & compaction etc;
5) construction of temporary & permanent swales. Detention basins to be constructed by the Principal;
6) traffic control & traffic management & provision of traffic & car parking staging plans;
7) construction of pavements & asphaltic concrete (hotmix) wearing course & footpaths including set-out/as-constructed survey;
8) construction of block paving footpath on the northern side of Frances Terrace to the underside of sand bedding layer level. Principal to lay sand bedding & block paving;
9) construction of kerbing & gutters;
10) installation of stormwater entry pits, pipelines, gross pollutant trap & outlet to swale;
11) installation of Town Centre stormwater entry pits & pipelines, including liaison with service authorities;
12) road lighting installation for car park & pedestrian crossings. (Lighting marked on drawings as PLEC lighting to be installed by others);
13) relocation of existing amenities & septic tank (by others);
14) provision of As Constructed survey; &
15) proposal for a site office.
The supply, installation & testing f the materials required for the works is incorporated in this tender ensuring that all guidelines, laws & specifications are adhered to.
