Coal and Allied is interested in receiving Expressions of Interest from companies that can provide professional services for the staged design and construction of a product coal feed bin at the Hunter Valley Operations Load Point. Stage 1 will include site investigation, conceptual design and budget preparation. Stage 2 will encompass design and construction for the completion of the works. all works will comply to stringent Coal & Allied safety standards. It is envisaged that the design process will be highly consultative iwth existing operations, with a key element of the work being the minimisation of disruptions to current train loading facilities during construction. LIDDELL COAL COLLIERY - RESOURCE

A proposal has been approved to increase ROM coal production to 8 Mtpa. Associated development will comprise the construction of a new Coal Handling Plant, establishment of a new supplementary stockpile with capacity of 450,000 tonnes, alter the planned 1500 ML Dam 13B footprint, construct a bridge over the main Northern Railway to improve transport between existing coal pits, alter an access road to the CHPP, relocation of offices, workshop and storage area and an associated access road, and the construction of a desalination unit within the CHPP area for the treatment of mine water. Coal Handling Preparation Plant project at 20 Km North West of, Singleton, NSW 2330 In The Council Area Of Singleton of Private. Construction of a new Coal Handling Preparation Plant. This will involve the construction of a new preparation section, upgrades to the ROM receival and product coal facilities. The new preparation area will be located next to the old CHPP and its capacity will be 1200 tonnes per hour. This will include new screening, cyclone and spiral components for the plant. Upgrades to the ROM receival equipment include shortening of the apron feeder, a new rotating star wheel, new sizers and an increase in the drive power and length of the ROM conveyor. DRAYTON COAL OPERATIONS EXTENSION PROJECT
Mining - Primary And Secondary Processing (Coal Processing) project for New development. Mining of an additional resource of 30 million tonnes from the Greta Coal Measures (targeting the Rowan formation) at a rate of up to 8 Mtpa to extend the mine life to 2017. The extension of mining will predominantly progress to the South of current operations; however, additional areas within the North and East of the project area are also proposed to be mined. The project will require some additional items of equipment to accommodate an increased rate of production such as: 1 x excavator, 3 x track dozers, 5 x 280 tonne rear dump trucks, 1 x additional drill, grader and watercart, plus other minor ancillary equipment. The existing Coal Handling Plant (CHP) & associated stockpile reclamation system will be upgraded in order to align the facilities with the proposed increase in annual production. A new 80 000 tonnes product coal stockpile & a 40 000 tonne domestic product coal stockpile are proposed to further assist production efficiencies. Minor changes to Drayton's water management system are also proposed to maximise water management & use at the mine. Drayton will continue to utilise dragline, excavators, loaders and a fleet of trucks to both uncover the coal & transport it to on-site processing and load-out facilities.
