A 10m wide epithermal vein breccia system of 2.5km in length and partly covered by barren overlying rocks, has shed significant gold into local drainages, but sampling has to date only produced limited evidence of gold in outcrop. The structure is analogous to Pajingo, Cracow and Woolgar where significant high grade gold mineralisation is encountered at considerable depth below the present land surface. STEAM ENGINE PROJECT - GOLD/URANIUM RESOURCE
Resource - Gold/Uranium project at Approximately 140km North of, Richmond, QLD 4822 in the Mining (Exploration - airborne surveys etc.). The epithermal veins at the project have geological similarities to the high-greade epithermal gold vein systems at Pajingo. It is believed that this project porvides evidence of similar epithermal type gold mineralisation. Previous investigations by others have delineated widespread uranium mineralisation in the region hosted by hydrothermally altered granite and quartz muscovite schists in close proximity to features of geological unconformity. It is believed that the project has the potential to host this style of mineralisation. Five extensive, seond and third order uranium anomalies have been identified within the project area, they remain untested and provide targets for more detailed investigation.
