TONSLEY CIVIL WORKS STAGE 3
Civil Engineering (Industrial Subdivision) project for New development. The Principal invites tenders for the following: SCOPE OF WORK: The Contract is for the construction of subdivisional roadworks, drainage & services including sequencing to prioritise the works for site traffic & pedestrian management purposes. In conjunction with the civil works associated with the subdivisional works, SAPN will separately be undergrounding the existing overhead power lines within the boundary of the site works & in the vicinity of these works. The civil works associated with the undergrounding of the power lines & removal of poles shall be undertaken by the civil contractor under this contract & works coordinated under the direction of SAPN & the Superintendent. The scope of work shall include the following: 1) liaison & cooperation with Council & the service authorities (including SAPN for undergrounding of 66kV works & removal of existing stobie poles & SAPN infrastructure); 2) liaison & cooperation with Renewal SA & Superintendent on matters relating to vehicular & pedestrian access to other stakeholders on the site including but not limited to the DPTI Park n Ride car Park, SIEC car park, Mitsubishi Spare Parts Building, SIEC commercial vehicles, access for SAPN at all times to the existing SAPN substation & general public movements & site tenants; 3) liaison, cooperation & approval from DPTI rail services regarding the proposed boring & pipe jacking of pipes/conduits beneath the railway line for 66kV, stormwater & recycled water; 4) liaise with Renewal SA environmental consultant regarding contamination issues, existing groundwater monitoring wells; 5) setting out the works from established bench marks & boundaries; 6) site clearance of all vegetation, rubbish, pavement material, internal services, fences & structures (including stockpiling on site where indicated); 7) demolition of existing infrastructure as marked on the drawings &/or required to facilitate construction of new roads & infrastructure contained within the stage boundary. Contractor to prepare a surveyed plan showing the location of all underground services that were removed & submit to Superintendent prior to Practical Completion; 8) remove all stobie pole footings & recompact in accordance with specification; 9) demolition of steel structure at northern end of Western Plant building including gantry; 10) disposal of material (including but not limited to concrete pavement, kerbs, asphalt etc) shall be to an approved recycling depot (where possible). Contractor to provide documentation as proof; 11) stripping, excavation & removal off site of all existing granular pavement material & spoil material from the stage boundary including but not limited to trenching, formation of roadworks & earthworks; 12) soil erosion & drainage management including drainage from external of the site boundary including but not limited to the existing adjacent buildings; 13) maintain access & live services to the existing buildings & parking facilities within & surrounding the project area at all times. Staging, sequencing & after hours construction works shall be required to facilitate this; 14) earthworks including filling & compaction of demolished & excavated areas to finished levels (includes all necessary soil moisture conditioning); 15) road works construction including the final vehicular access points into the DPTI Park N Ride car park & SIEC car park; 16) road works associated with the Drill Core fire access near the Mitsubishi Administration building between CH00-CH74; 17) road works (kerbing) & line marking associated with the closure of the existing temporary northern access road from the Ring Road constructed previously as part of Stage 2 works; 18) kerb & gutter, spoon drain & driveway invert construction; 19) installation of underground services a) sewerage reticulation; b) potable water reticulation; c) stormwater Click for more details...
