NSW STATE RECORDS - ARCHIVAL REPOSITORY BUILDING
143 (Lot 5) O'Connell St (DP567411), Kingswood, NSW 2747 Has Nsw State Records - Archival Repository Building currently at Construction stage. Construction of an Archival Repository Building to accommodate the storage of approx 650,000 type 1 archival boxes. The building consists of 3 floors broken into 12 storage compartments. The building contains a central core area housing a lift, stair well, sort area, office loading deck, staff amenities & plant room. The envelope is made up of precast concrete panels externally with an insulated steel stud framed wall lined with plasterboard internaly. The roof is clad with corrigated metal with vapour barrier & lined & lined with a pre-finished metal sheathed insulated sandwich panel to form the ceiling. The entire envelope is sealed to prevent the infiltration of outside air into the internal conditioned spaces. The services consist of a Geothermal airconditioning system augmented by heat pumps. NEWCASTLE CIVIC & CULTURAL PRECINCT CCP DRAFT MASTERPLAN
Community/Commercial Development project at bounded by Wheeler Place, Auckland St, Queen St & the Harbour, Newcastle, NSW 2300 In The Council Area Of Newcastle of Local Govt. Construction of a retirement village consisting of 27 independent living units; a residential aged care facility building incorporating an 86 bed nursing home with associated facilities including consulting rooms & administration offices; construction of community facilities including a library, flexible meeting space & cafe; & provision of hard & soft landscaping including a toddlers' playground & public park. The residential aged care facility is the largest building, with a GFA of 4,863sq m, H-shaped in plan & varying between 1/4 storeys. The building will accommodate a mix of uses.
