THE PARAFIELD & BROADMEADOWS RAILWAY STATIONS UPGRADE
Kings Rd, Parafield & Tisbury St, Davoren Park, Gawler, SA 5118 Has The Parafield & Broadmeadows Railway Stations Upgrade currently at Construction stage. As part of Public Transport Services (PTS) commitment to providing accessible public transport, two stations have been identified for upgrades to meet access requirements under the Disability Discrimination Act. The sites where upgrade works are to be undertaken are Parafield Station and Broadmeadows Station. Both stations are located on the Gawler line. Parafield station consists of two side platforms. The western (down) platform is an earth filled island platform with bituminous surfacing, located between ARTC and PTS (AMPRN) tracks. Access is via a ramp and automated pedestrian crossing on the northern end. The eastern (up) platform has been partly upgraded previously and consists of a side platform with concrete surfacing. Access is via a northern and a central ramp with the northern ramp connecting to the automated pedestrian crossing. Broadmeadows station is an earth filled island platform with concrete edges and capped with bituminous surfacing, currently with ramps and pedestrian crossings at each end. The railway right of way is a nominated specialised work location and safety of railway operations is of paramount importance. The contractor shall undertake the works in such a manner so as to not impede, obstruct or interfere in any manner whatsoever with Railway Infrastructure. BLUE LAKE PEDESTRIAN SOLAR LIGHTING

Design, supply & installation of pedestrian solar lighting around the Blue Lake. The Blue Lake in Mount Gambier is a popular recreational & tourist location, receiving a high amount of visitors (local & non-local) each year. The Blue Lake has a 3.5km pedestrian walkway around its perimeter, which many people use for walking & running. Currently only a small section of the walkway is lit at night time. Council wishes for the remainder of the walkway (including any dark spots between existing lighting) to be lit at night time, to enable people to walk & run around the lake in the evenings in a safe environment, particularly during the shorter days of the cooler months. Given that 2.6km of the path does not have hard wired electricity within a close proximity, solar lighting provides an ideal solution. A small number of car parks associated with the walkway, paths leading up to look outs, & a small reserve containing outdoor public gym equipment is also required to be lit. RAILWAY STATION LED LIGHTING UPGRADE

The Department of Planning Transport Infrastructure (DPTI) is responsible for operating & maintaining the Adelaide Metropolitan Rail Network (AMPRN). DPTI wishes to upgrade the existing lighting at a number of stations across the Adelaide Metropolitan Passenger Network by installing new LED pol mounted luminaires on the platforms & LED linear fittings in the shelters. This work is not intended as a full electrical upgrade but rather as a like-for-like replacement; for example, no pole changeovers or changes to underground wiring are anticipated. However, at some stations an additional linear fitting may be installed in the shelter(s). The existing pole-mount luminaires are predominantly a mixture of Versalux Oriolux 70W units & MiniFlood-type 70W floodlights. Some old Boronia luminaires or similar are also present. The existing fluorescent fittings are either 600mm or 1200mm or Vandaguard types. Existing luminaires are mounted on 42mm OD tube outreaches. Floodlights are mounted utilising outreaches. The stations at which work is required to be carried out are: Seaford Line: Mile End; Woodlands Park; Brighton; Seacliff; Marino & Marino Rocks; (Alternate - Warradale). Outer Harbor Line: Alberton; Ethelton; Draper; & Midlunga; (Alternates - West Croydon; Taperoo; Outer Harbor; Seaton Park & East Grange). Gawler Line: North Adelaide; & Islington (Alternates - Kilburn & Nurlutta). Principally Supplied: Items listed will be supplied by the Principal at no cost to the Tenderer for use in the works: 1) Pole-mounted luminaires; Versalux StarLED 64/700 with DALI control gear; 2) 1200mm Linear LEDS: either Thorn Gladiator LED, Versalux Enduralux or Moonlighting Excelsior type; 3) Circular 5-core DALI power cable, Tricab type TD818-XXXN/5C2.5BK; 4) Coloured knife-disconnect terminals for use in terminating DALI data bus wires; 5) New NEMA-type PE Cell sockets to replace the existing ones. Steve Woodcock Sports Centre Soccer Pitch Lighting is currently at the Construction stage, valued at about $ 300000 it is The Principal invites tenders for the installation of an appropriate lighting system to illuminate the main soccer pitch at Steve Woodcock Sports Centre at Stradbroke Rd, Newton. Scope of Works: It includes the installation of six (6) new 18 metre light poles (fixed or swivel) around the pitch including headframe, bolts & cages with sufficient LED lights of Metal Halide to achieve a required 300 Lux lighting including all ancillary site works, footings & required electrical connectivity. The Tender shall comprise the whole of the plant & labour & materials necessary for the works including any obvious items for the proper completion of the work as specified. DESCRIPTION OF WORK & GENERAL CONDITIONS - 1) Design & installation of a lighting system of 300 lux for the main soccer pitch at Steve Woodcock Sports Centre. 2) The design & installation shall be based on providing six (6), eighteen (18) metre high poles (fixed or swivel). 3) The design & installation shall include sufficient floodlights to achieve the 300 lux using either LED or Metal Halide floodlights. 4) The design & installation shall include appropriate footings & base to cater for the installation of the floodlights & poles based on Qualified Structural Engineers recommendations & Australian Standards. 5) The design & installation shall incorporate all required & compliant electrical connections through existing or new power supplies as required. 6) Allowance to provide for electrical connections for a potential new electronic scoreboard to replace the existing scoreboard as will be determined at the site visit. 7) Upgrade the electrical supply to the shed/kiosk at the current location as will be determined at the site visit. 8) The contractor must provide Council with regular reports during the project & liaise regularly with appointed Council staff. 9) The contractor must provide Council with notice of any further requirements noted during the course of undertaking the project & the likely costs associated. 10) The contractor must provide Council with appropriate certificates of compliance as required. 11) The contractor must coordinate the project with Council (& the Campbelltown City Soccer Club as Lessees) & any variation to the scope must be approved by Council. 12) All excavated materials including concrete, asphalt, excavated soil, gravels, pipes, lawn, asbestos & waste construction materials arising from the performance of this Contract shall be removed by the contractor in accordance with the provisions of the South Australian Work Health & Safety Act 2012 (SA) & any other relevant legislation, regulations, standards & guidelines. Scope: The provision of an electrical installation that satisfies all statutory, legislative & code requirements & conforms with the general details herein. The planning, scheduling, procurement of components & their installation to meet the program. Full responsibility for the execution of the complete installation in accordance with the project specification. The installation, testing, commissioning, maintenance, service & warranty; & all sundry & material items whether mentioned in detail or not, required to complete the installation & put it into working order. Description of the Installation: The following works generally describe the Electrical Services installation & shall be carried out under this specification: 1) The demolition & construction of base lighting systems are to take place within levels 1 & 2 within sections of the ACM Car Park (including all ramps). Additionally, total costing of the project is to be provided if the work were to be completed during normal working hours. 4) Installation of all new luminaires, including associated wiring systems, supports & ancillaries before decommissioning the existing fluorescent luminaire installation & commissioning the new lighting system. This is to reduce down time to the general care park lighting entirely. 5) The new lighting arrangement comprises linear LED luminaires for general lighting (3400lm on Level 1, 4800lm ON Level 2). Similar performance luminaires may be proposed for approval by the consulting engineer, which would require photometric calculations be completed to provide evidence of compliance. It is expected that a slightly differing arrangement to suit the variation of light characteristics (lumen output & distribution pattern) may be a result of these calculations. 6) High bay style of luminaires have been selected to illuminate a number of ramp areas. Flood lights have also been selected to illuminate the entry ramp from Gouger St. Alternative fittings may be proposed for approval by the consulting engineer. The Principal invites tenders for the design, supply, construct, commission & maintenance of electric vehicle chargers & demand management system in Council operated car parks. The Principal is responsible for operating & maintaining the Adelaide Metropolitan Rail Network (AMPRN). DPTI wishes to upgrade the existing lighting at a number of stations across the Adelaide Metropolitan Rail network (AMPRN) by installing new Ingal (or equivalent) tilt-down (see-saw) poles & LED pole-mounted luminaires on the platforms. This work is not intended as a full electrical upgrade but rather as a like-for-like replacement, although some additional electrical cabling work will be required at some stations.
