FISHERMANS WHARF DEVELOPMENT
A project in the NSW Within Wyong. Construction of a 3 storey tourist development that will include a number of upmarket restaurants, retail tenancies, extensive deck areas for outdoor eating and public entertainment, function rooms, public toilets and a timber boardwalk over the water supported on piers. The proposed development contains the following components: ground floor - 11 tenancies (shops/restaurants - 2 kitchens); 2 offices (centre manager & secretary); entry foyer/lift; open deck areas; storage areas; public toilets/baby change; and garbage bin storage. First floor - 7 tenancies (restaurant/function areas - 4 kitchens); entry foyer/lift; open deck areas; internal toilets. Second floor - 3 tenancies (restaurants/function areas - 2 kitchens); entry foyer/lift; open deck areas; and internal toilets. Total tenacy area will be 1,428.88sq m. The floors of the building are to be of suspended reinforced concrete with the internal columns and load bearing walls to be concrete or masonry. Waterfront - Redevelopment - Design & Construct project at Foreshore btwn Barrack & William Sts, Perth, WA 6000 In The Council Area Of Perth of State. Construction of a 2.8 ha inlet that will bring the river back to near its original shore line. The inlet will be surrounded by landscaped terraces, boardwalks & promenades. It is proposed to remove a section of Riverside Dr & some changes may be made to existing roads to create more pedestrian-friendly routes. Significant work may be done on road re-alignment, drainage & dredging. The inlet, designed to reflect the historical characteristics of Perth Port, will have room for public boat mooring facilities. At the centre of the new inlet will be an island. Potential land use mix may include 15,000 sqm of office space, 36,000 sqm of retail, 1700 apartments, 220 hotel & short stay accommodation rooms & land at the foot of William St has been set aside for a significant public building to be 9,000 sqm in area likely to be a National Centre for Indigenous Art & Culture. AUSTEEL STEEL MILL
A project in the NSW Within Port Stephens. Construction of a Steel Mill to produce 4 million tonne per year of steel from the Western Australian Fortescue iron ore deposit. The steel mill complex will include 3 electric arc furnaces, 3 ladle furnaces, 2 thin slab casters, a thick slab caster, a hot strip mill & a hot strip temper mill. As well there is a cold mill complex comprising a pickle line, 2 single standing reversing mills, a galvanising line, a tempermill, batch annealing & an inspection/coil handling & packaging facility. The NSW Government has entered into an agreement to develop a 150ha site for the steel mill & a 25ha site for a port facility & lease them to Austeel on a long term commercial basis.
