DUCHESS OF YORK PROJECT - GOLD RESOURCE
60 km south east of, Kalgoorlie, WA 6430 Has Duchess Of York Project - Gold Resource currently at Exploration, Drilling, Survey & Assessment stage. During the quarter, Hampton carried out 2394 m of RAB bedrock drilling on a 200 x 50 m grid pattern plus 3 RC holes totalling 270 m. The main target zone covered by the RAB drilling extends southward from the Duchess of York prospect which is situated on top of an outcropping hill associated with intensely veined quartz prophyry. The zone covers a modest but distinct gold in soil auger drill anomaly and north trending lineaments interpreted from detailed aeromagnetics. Click for more details...

WILCHERY HILL/GAWLER CRATON PROJECT - VALLEY DAM
Mining (Open Cut) project In The Port Augusta Council Area of Private ownership. The exploration licence covers the north-east margin of the Wilcherry Hill gravity and magnetic anomaly that is related to a Hiltaba Suite granite complex. The anomaly trends into the East Houlderoo gold anomaly on the Wilcherry Hill tenement. Pyrite-silica and silica-carbonate alteration with arsenipyrite has been intersected in air-core drilling and brecciated quartz veins carrying anomalous gold values have been mapped in outcrop. PANTON NORTH JOINT VENTURE PROJECT - NICKEL/COPPER RESOURCE
Resource - Nickel/Copper project at East Kimberley area via, Halls Creek, WA 6770 in the Mining (Open Cut). Previous drillhole has returned an intercept of 51 metres at 0.28% nickel and 0.14% copper from surface, including 15 metres @ 0.48% nickel and 0.2% copper from 18 metres. The Mabel Hill intrusion and the new zone to the north form a narrow and elongate pyroxenite-gabbro-norite igneous body. The intrusion is interpreted to represent a feeder conduit, analogous in style to the Sally Malay and Voisey's Bay intrusions and their associated nickel-copper-cobalt sulphide mineralisation. Results indicate the Mabel Hill intrusive is a fertile, nickel sulphide rich system. The known prospect area, where the intrusion crops out, displays broad by low grade nickel sulphide mineralisation. The prospective target zone may extend for up to 2 km to the north. MIKADO GOLD MINE - RESOURCE

Mine studies of the area will be carried in conjuction with the Brighstar Gold project which is located near the mine. Mining is planned to commence 2006. PUZZLE/NIAGARA - GOLD
Mining (Open Cut) project at Kookynie area approximately 50 km southeast of, Leonora, WA 6438 for New. ((Contract to also include tailings dam construction.)) Area considered to have potential for a large, low-grade shallow deposit. Total proven reserves for this project now total more than 1.17mt grading 2.85gpt gold. Encouraging results returned from first pass drilling on nearby Redbank prospect (Horizon). Mining contract to include the Niagara deposit approximately 10 km distant. FENDER - GOLD
Mining (Open Cut) project at Approximately 28 km northwest of, Cue, WA 6640 for New. Earlier reverse circulation drilling has delineated a strike of approximately 250m. Best results included 12m (from 68m) grading 5.4gpt gold. Ore is to be trucked to the nearby Big Bell Mine for treatment. NIMARY - GOLD
Mining (Open Cut) project In The Wiluna Council Area of Private ownership. Contract period of 2 (option 3) years envisaged during which time the first pit (Nimone/Two) is expected to be completed & the second open cut commenced. A strip ratio of 18.1:1 is anticipated for these mines. Diluted open pit reserve currently estimated at 3.4mt grading 6.35gpt gold. Nimone/Two has an initial planned depth of 110m, Nimthree 180m & Nimfour 150m. RAVENSWORTH EAST COAL OPERATIONS

Selective & bulk mining methods expected to be utilised on the areas which have an average strip ratio of 3.5:1. Total measured & indicated resource now stands 16.4mt grading 1.94gpt gold (uncut) with preliminary reserves of 6.1mt at 1.73gpt gold. KINGSTON PROJECT - MONTEGO BAY
Mining (Open Cut) project at via, Stawell, VIC 3380 of Resource - Gold type of New development. RC drilling to test the Montego Bay prospect has been completed. This prospect was defined by soil, stream sediment and rock chip sampling and extends east-northeast from the historic Kingston mine. The surface gold anomaly is associated with a conspicuous east-northeast striking quartz-breccia ridge with a strike extent of about 500 m. A project in the VIC Within La Trobe. International Power Hazelwood proposes to extend the Hazelwood Mine beyond the existing mining licence boundary, to allow continuation of the company's coal supply for the commercial operating life of the power station. Includes the extension of the mining licence to access the western part of the Morwell seam, diversion and restoration of the Morwell River, diversion and restoration of Eel Hole and Wilderness Creeks, as well as deviation of the Strzelecki Highway. More specifically the Strzelecki Highway will be raligned up to 1000 metres west of current alignment. Seven kilometres of the Morwell River will be relocated and rebuilt on a new alignment. The river will taken out of the concrete pipe and returned to a natural riverline environment. The Yinnar Driffield road will be upgraded to accommodate over dimensional 9 traffic. Willugudinna Hill Project - Various Minerals Resource is currently at the Exploration, Drilling, Survey & Assessment stage, valued at about $ 1000000 it is The drilling programmes are designed to investigate three priority targets considered to have potential for nickel/copper sulphide mineralisation similar to that at Voisey's Bay in Canada. Demonstrated potential exists within the Musgrave Province of South Australia for base metals (copper, lead, zinc), ferrous metals (chromium, nickel, vanadium, titanium) and uranium. Potential also exists for precious metals (platinum group metals, gold), precious stones (diamonds, rubies), heavy mineral sands and rare earths. The prospectivity of Proterozoic rocks is well recognised and, with the exception of those contained within the Musgrave Province, have generally been subject to intense exploration for a considerable period of time yielding a number of World Class mineral deposits. MARILLANA CREEK MINE EXPANSION - YANDI - IRON ORE RESOURCE
Resource - Iron Ore project at 90 km north west of, Newman, WA 6753 In The Council Area Of East Pilbara of Private. Total resource body is estimated at 1420 million wet tonnes. Production is expected to increase from an existing 34 Mtpa to 45 Mtpa. Proposal for the expansion include, open cut mining of the overburden and ore, dewatering of the orebody during mining operations. Overburden will be placed in mine voids and out of pit storage areas. Infrastructure for the processing, loading and transportation of ore will be provided by two rail loading stockpiles/loops and railed from site to Port headland for shipping. Supply and distribution of power and raw materials will a be provided by on site diesel generators. Future power demands are expected to be met by the Newman gas fired station via connecting overhead transmission line. A new sewage facility known as Packsaddle Village Sewage Treatment Plant will be constructed. Existing infrastructure facilities at the mine site like main access roads, workshops, administration areas, accommodation village and airstrips will be used. WORSLEY ALUMINA EXPANSION EFFICIENCY & GROWTH PROJECT
Mining (Open Cut) project In The Collie Council Area of Mine Expansion/Refinery - Upgrade type. Development comprises two parts. Expansion of the existing bauxite mining activities and an upgrade of the refinery. Mining will expand into the Saddleback, Marradong, Hotham North, East Quindanning, Morgans, Hotham North Extension, Central and Brookton mining envelopes. Throughput will expand to 16.5 Mtpa. The expansion of mining activities will involve the addition of three new primary crushers and a new crushed ore stockpile will be needed next to the existing secondary crusher to provide extra surge material to feed the overland bauxite conveyor. Additional conveyors include a 34 km extension from the Hotham North mining envelope which will cross both the Albany Highway and the Wandering-North Bannister road, a 16 Km spur from the south east of the Central mining envelope to the Luptons mining envelope and lastly a 28 Km extension from the Central mining envelope to the Brookton mining envelope. Additional bauxite conveyors spurs and haul truck transport may be needed in the future. Refinery expansion will involve an increase in the Bauxite stockpile of 0.5 Mt. At the Milling and Digestion plant an additional mill, an additional desilication tank and eight new slurry heaters will be required. At the Seperation plant, an extension of the residue washing tanks and an expansion of capacity of the causticiser circuit. At the Calcination plant an additional gas fired calciner with bag house with a new hydrate filtration building. Addition of a coal-fired co-generation facility with bag house designed to produce 350 tonnes of steam per hour (equivalent to 204 Mw) and 35 Mw of electrical power. Click for more details...

MCARTHUR RIVER BASE METALS OPERATIONS PHASE 3 EXPANSION
Operating Mine - Expn - Phase 3 project at 60km southwest of, Borroloola, NT 0854 in the Mining (Open Cut). A project to extend the existing pit to the east to cover 210ha (1750m x 1500m). Mining to 420m deep should increase mineable reserves from 54 million tonnes (Mt) to 115Mt. Expansion of the current fleet of rope shovels, hydraulic excavators & large haul trucks to increase the mining capacity from 2.5Mtpa to 5.5 Mtpa. Upgrade of the processing plant (expanded crushing facilities, additional grinding mills, flotation cells & thickeners) to produce up to 800,000tpa of bulk zinc/lead concentrate containing 368,000t zinc. New overburden emplacement facilities (OEF) to the east & south of the expanded pit as well as expansion of the existing North OEF from 375ha to 860ha & a height increase from 55m to 80m. Installation of a new water management dam with a low permeability liner & drainage to allow it to eventually be converted to Cell 4 of the tailings storage facility. Increase using the existing pipeline of gas fired power generation from 20MW to 45-40MW. Expansion of the permanent accommodation village by 30 then later 80 rooms. Construction of a 300 room temporary workers camp serviced by a packet sewerage treatment plant. Workforce to peak during construction at 930 & operationally at 735 permanent staff & contractors. Rock chip sampling preceded reverse circulation drilling to test multiple lodes hosted in a chlorite-altered corridor. A ground magnetic survey to detail lode outlines prior to follow up drilling.
