GALONG LIMESTONE OPERATIONS
Eubinal Rd, Galong, NSW 2585 Has Galong Limestone Operations currently at Planning stage. Boral intends to expand the Galong lime operation by installing a 150,000 tonnes per annum vertical shaft lime kiln at the site, subject to regulatory approvals. HAWKS NEST MINERAL SANDS OPERATIONS - FULLERTON
Dredge - Dismantle & Relocation New project In The Upper Lachlan Council Area. MDL has finalised a comprehensive technical and commercial co-operation agreement with a private Indian company, Beach Minerals (Sands) Company Limited ("BMC"). The agreement will see the transfer of MDL's 9 million tonne per annum Fullerton dredge to BMC. MDL is providing technical expertise in respect of dredge mining programme at Kuttam. BMC will fund the costs associated with shipping the dredge from Australia and its reconfiguration and assembly in India. MDL is providing technical assistance to BMC in respect of their separation plant upgrade. Click for more details...

BROKEN HILL SEPARATION PLANT UPGRADE
Currently at the Planning stage In Broken Hill is a project estimated to be $ 36000000. This project The upgrade of the separation plant is proposed to take into account the development of the nearby Snapper project. Upgrades will be undertaken for the plant itself and associated infrastructure. The plant upgrades planned are the additions of a rutile circuit and a zircon circuit. An option to locate a Wet High Intensity Magnetic Separator circuit from the mine site is also proposed. These addition will production to increase from 576,000 tpa to 650,000 tpa. The rutile, ilmenite and zircon circuit feed and rejects stockpiles will all be expanded. The non-magnetic concentrate heavy mineral concentrate receival area will also be expanded. The capacity of the two coal container storages will be expanded from 1000 tonnes to 1500 tonnes. Click for more details...
