CESSNOCK SEWERAGE TREATMENT PLANT
A project in the NSW Within Cessnock. The establishment of a tertiary treatment plant & associated equipment to remove algal cells, other suspended solids, soluble phosphorus & faecal coliforms from the effluent discharged from the existing maturation ponds. Tertiary treatment will enable the plant to comply with suspended solids, algal cell, faecal coliform & phosphorus requirements. MUNMORAH GAS TURBINE FACILITY
Gas Turbine Facility project at Part Lot 61 DP1065038, Doyalson, NSW 2262 in the Civil Engineering (Pipelines). Proposed construction of a gas turbine facility to be built on the site of the existing Munmorah Power Station. The proposed development would include: four gas turbines with a combined power output of approximately 600MV; a back-start generator; distillate fuel & demineralised water storages; a gas compressor; an evaporative air cooling unit; and a gas supply pipeline. The open-cycle gas turbine facility and lateral gas pipeline would connect the gas turbine facility to the Sydney-Newcastle gas pipeline. The gas turbine facility would be operated as a peak-load power station, supplying electricity at short notice during periods of peak power demand. TOMAGO TRUNKMAIN UPGRADE OVER ASH ISLAND
Currently at the Construction stage In Newcastle is a project estimated to be $ 7000000. This project The project involves the decommissioning and replacement of an existing underground 900mm water trunkmain (DN 900) with a new 1350mm underground trunkmain (DN 1350) along approximately 3k of Ash Island. The project site is comprised of: construction zone ? a 20 metre corridor along the three km length of the trunkmain, and a site compound area (approximately 13.61 hectares within the City Farm area managed by the Kooragang Wetland Rehabilitation Project). The compound area consists of the ASS remediation and disposal area, a site office and soil stockpiling area; and disturbance zone ? a 15 metre corridor located within the construction zone west from Ramsar Road, which includes the centreline of the proposed route and the proposed vegetation clearance area required for construction. The construction zone would be delineated and temporarily fenced during the construction period so as to confine construction activities within the designated area. The zone does not pass through the Kooragang Nature Reserve (KNR, now known as Hunter Wetlands National Park) but lies 10-15 m from the KNR boundary in the northern section and 20-30 m from the KNR boundary in the southern section of the proposed route. The proposal would involve disturbance of a total area of 18.64 ha (5.03 ha within the disturbance zone and 13.61 ha within the compound area), the majority of which is cleared pasture/grassland. Only one ha of this is SEPP 14 wetland areas. The Proponent proposes to rehabilitate and restore all areas impacted during construction, including areas adjacent to the construction zone. NEPEAN RIVER PUMP AND PIPELINE

The proposal involves the construction and operation of a pump and pipeline to extract water from the Nepean River to facilitate the initial filling and long term water supply of the Penrith lakes. The intake structure and pipework will comprise twin 630mm diameter pipelines submerged in a minimum of 2 metres of water beneath the riverbed of the Nepean River. the pump station will be built into the eastern bank of the Nepean River approx 110 metres upstream of the Penrith weir. The pump station will be constructed below ground with the roof structure and the wall adjacent to the Nepean River the only parts visible above ground. The control building will be co-located with the existing public amenity building to the west of existing carpark. The control building will be approx 75sq m in area. A constructed wetland and quarantine lake will comprise 2 components of a multiple barrier approach that the Nepean River water will pass through prior to being discharged into the scheme. MANILDRA PARK BULK LIQUIDS STORAGE & BIODIESEL PRODUCTION FACILITY
Currently at the Construction stage In Newcastle is a project estimated to be $ 32000000. This project Construction and operation of a marine fuel storage and distribution, and biodiesel production facility and associated infrastructure. The proposal will be undertaken in 3 distinct phases. Phase 1 involves refurbishing the 2 existing storage tanks, construction of pipeline & operating fuel receival & distribution facilities at the berth, construction of a road tanker loading bay & construction of amenities & service buildings. Under this phase the storage capacity is approx 51 ML. Phase 2 involves the construction of 3 additional fuel storage tanks. Associated with the increased storage capacity, is an increase in distribution volumes to service local land based bulk diesel users. Under this phase, the storage capacity is increased by approx 9 ML, taking the total storage capacity to approx 60 ML. Phase 3 involves the construction of a biodiesel production facility with a production capacity of approx 60 ML per year. Construction of water supply scheme consisting of 3 separable portions: construction of pipelines along Mogriguy Rd from Brockhurst to Eumungerie & within Mogriguy & Eumungerie villages, design & construction of reservoir & chlorination system on Mogriguy Rd opposite Kyarra Dr way & design & construction of Brocklehurst pumping station at Brocklehurst within the Wambiana St Reserve. Scope of work includes :Separable Portion 1 - Construction of Pipelines, rising main from Brocklehurst Pumping Station to Eumungerie Reservoir, reticulation main from Eumungerie Reservoir to the Eumungerie town, reticulation main from Eumungerie Reservoir to the Mogriguy village, reticulation network within Eumungerie, reticulation network within Mogriguy. Separable Portion 2 - Design and Construction package of Reservoir and Chlorination System including design and Construction of a 100 kL reservoir at approximately 16.6 km from Brocklehurst Pumping Station, design and construction/Installation of a chlorination system at the reservoir site, civil works at the reservoir site include inlet, outlet pipelines from the reservoir, scour/overflow pipeline from the reservoir to drainage outlet, access road, fencing and gates, scour/overflow discharge outlet, concrete pits for magflow meters, chlorination injection point and isolation valves. Separable Portion 3 - Design and Construction package of Brocklehurst Pumping Station including design and construction of Brocklehurst pumping station, civil works at the pumping station site include suction and delivery pipe lines, connection to existing retic-mains; concrete pit for magflow meter and isolation valves, provision of power supply to the Pumping Station & associated electrical and mechanical works. .
