TASMANIAN IRRIGATION DEVELOPMENT BOARD
Tasmanian Irrigation Development Board is currently at the Planning stage, valued at about $ 320000000 it is The Tasmanian Irrigation Development Board (TIDB) has been set up by the Tasmanian Government to develop irrigation projects within the state. It has twelve specific projects to implement at a total capital cost of approximately $320 million. TIDB is inviting contractors to register their interest in being pre-qualified to tender to construct irrigation distribution pipeline networks and associated fittings. SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS IRRIGATION SCHEME
Civil Engineering (Pipelines) project at Various locations within the municipality of the Southern Highlands, Hamilton, TAS 7140 for New. The Southern Highlands Irrigation Scheme (SHIS) is one of five schemes which comprises Tasmanian Irrigation?s (TI) second suite of schemes known as ?Tranche Two?. The SHIS will deliver 7,215 ML of high reliability irrigation water from a holding dam approximately 17km north-west of Bothwell to scheme participants via a 58km underground pipeline distribution network. Stripping of the embankment footprint & excavation of the keyway of Southernfield Dam. Construction of Shannon River Pump Station to be located to the south of Waddamana Road on the banks of the Shannon River. Construction of 1MW pump station & construction of the access road. Construction of 58km-long scheme distribution pipeline to run from Waddamana Road, south to Bothwell and on to Hollow Tree. The pipe diameter will range from DN180mm up to DN710mm. Pipeline spurs will provide water to farms along Nant Lane and to the east of Bothwell along Highland Lakes Road. Two small booster pump stations are required in the scheme. PRINCES WHARF 3, HOBART REMEDIATION WORKS PROJECT

CSIRO through this RFT is seeking responses from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for the provision of construction services to remediate CSIRO?s existing Princes 3 Wharf, Hobart as described in this Statement of Requirements including all Annexures, this includes but is not limited to: a. provide all equipment, labour, plant and access required in order to undertake structural repairs to the concrete elements of the wharf that have corroded to the situation of cracking and spalling and may incur reduced structural capacity if not remediated. Remediation is to be by way of removing and replacing unsuitable concrete and corroded steel reinforcement. Remediated areas are to include installation of patch repair sacrificial anodes b. provide and install an Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) system to selected elements of the wharf where deemed necessary to mitigate future degradation c. provide and install preventative treatment to selected elements of the wharf where deemed necessary to mitigate future degradation. THE DUCK IRRIGATION SCHEME/MILL CREEK DAM
Currently at the Construction stage In Circular Head is a project estimated to be $ 9000000. This project Design & construction of the Duck Irrigation Scheme. It is a 5,200 megalitre (ML) scheme proposed to be built in the states north-west centered around the municipality of Smithton. The scheme will extract water from the Duck River and Mill Creek during the winter period and store in the proposed Mill Creek Dam. This water will be distributed to scheme participants during the summer irrigation period via a 61 kilometer underground pipeline network, facilitated by two pump stations and utilizing a section of the Duck River.
