Shopping Centre - Redevelopment New project In The Hornsby Council Area. Redevelopment of the eastern end of the Turner Rd commercial area . The proposal includes partial demolition and alterations to the existing Berowra Village Shopping Centre to accommodate a 2,700 (approx) GLFA supermarket, which is proposed to be operated by Coles, shops with a GLFA of approx 1,425 sq m which are located in an internal arcade, with some also having direct access to Turner Rd, with approx 18 shop tenancies (including specialty shops & 1 restaurant). The proposal also includes reconfiguration of the layout of the existing building. The project will also include demolition of the motel component of the Berowra Tavern & swimming pool at the rear as well as the private function building which is presently in the middle of the existing hotel carpark.
