Dartbrook Coal Operation - Stockpile Expansion/Tailings Facility is currently at the Planning stage, valued at about $ 10000000 it is Development comprises the construction of four new Run of mine coal stockpiles and the expansion of the existing emergency ROM coal stockpile at the Coal Handling and Preparation Plant. The expanded capacity will be 400,000 tonnes of coal. An underground tailings disposal facility in the Wynn Seam goaf area. The facility will have three components that include a tailings discharge line that is mainly underground, the Wynn Seam goaf disposal area and a new tailings return water system. BROKEN HILL SEPARATION PLANT UPGRADE
Currently at the Planning stage In Broken Hill is a project estimated to be $ 36000000. This project The upgrade of the separation plant is proposed to take into account the development of the nearby Snapper project. Upgrades will be undertaken for the plant itself and associated infrastructure. The plant upgrades planned are the additions of a rutile circuit and a zircon circuit. An option to locate a Wet High Intensity Magnetic Separator circuit from the mine site is also proposed. These addition will production to increase from 576,000 tpa to 650,000 tpa. The rutile, ilmenite and zircon circuit feed and rejects stockpiles will all be expanded. The non-magnetic concentrate heavy mineral concentrate receival area will also be expanded. DRAYTON COAL OPERATIONS EXTENSION PROJECT
Mining - Earthworks/Civil Engineering (Stockpile Management) project for New development. Mining of an additional resource of 30 million tonnes from the Greta Coal Measures (targeting the Rowan formation) at a rate of up to 8 Mtpa to extend the mine life to 2017. The extension of mining will predominantly progress to the South of current operations; however, additional areas within the North and East of the project area are also proposed to be mined. The project will require some additional items of equipment to accommodate an increased rate of production such as: 1 x excavator, 3 x track dozers, 5 x 280 tonne rear dump trucks, 1 x additional drill, grader and watercart, plus other minor ancillary equipment. The existing Coal Handling Plant (CHP) & associated stockpile reclamation system will be upgraded in order to align the facilities with the proposed increase in annual production. A new 80 000 tonnes product coal stockpile & a 40 000 tonne domestic product coal stockpile are proposed to further assist production efficiencies. Minor changes to Drayton's water management system are also proposed to maximise water management & use at the mine. Drayton will continue to utilise dragline, excavators, loaders and a fleet of trucks to both uncover the coal & transport it to on-site processing and load-out facilities. Blasting will continue to be required to assist with overburden & coal extraction. Drayton will continue to utilise existing infrastructure such as administration offices, workshops, parking facilities, conveyors, coal handling facilities and coal stockpiles. ULAN COAL MINE CONTINUED OPERATIONS PROJECT - ULAN WEST UNDERGROUND
Private ownership Mining - Earthworks/Civil Engineering (Stockpile Management) project In The Mid Western Regional Council Area for New development. Extension of underground mining operations in a location west of the existing Ulan No 3 underground mine & north of the recently closed open cut pit. To operate for 21 years using the retreat longwall method with a panel width of up to 400m. Access to the Ulan West operations to be via a series of portals to be constructed within the vicinity of the existing open cut pit. New surface facilities to be constructed around the entrance to include ventilation, power & water management facilities & a small temporary coal stockpile. An access ramp will also accommodate an overland conveyor out of the mine. Ancillary facilities to include a steel framed, concrete walled bathhouse along with other demountable buildings for workshops & administration purposes. LIDDELL COAL OPERATIONS EXPANSION
Mining - Earthworks/Civil Engineering (Stockpile Management) project at Old New England Hwy, Ravensworth, NSW 2330 for New. A project for a 5 year life-of-mine (LoM) extension by expanding the existing South pit followed by expansion of the Entrance pit after which a new MIA pit to be developed involving relocation of the current mine infrastructure area. Construction of a new conveyor & transfer point to link to the existing overland conveyor to allow transfer of up to 1.5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) of coal to the Ravensworth coal handling & preparation plant (CHPP) now that the demolished Cumnock CHPP is no longer available to take excess run-of-mine (ROM) coal. A new 50,000t stockpile at the new conveyor & expansion of the existing ROM stockpile capacity to 200,000t as well as a new tailings emplacement area in the South Pit void. Associated infrastructure expected to include access & haul roads, surface water management systems, new dewatering bores for the Hazeldene, Entrance & South pit workings, an explosive reload facility, powerlines, pipelines & a water truck fill point.
