PIYARLI YARDI ABORIGINAL HERITAGE & CULTURAL CENTRE
Entertainment (Theatres, Cinemas) project at Lot 1238 Robinson St & Hodgson Ct, Carnarvon, WA 6701 for New. Consultant to undertake anthropological & ethnographic research that will form basis of interpretive plan & design of exhibits for centre. Exhibition will comprise artifacts, photographs, thematic displays & number of specialist contracts such as multi-media, props, dressings & graphics. Exhibition area comprises 200 sq m of gallery & 100 sq m 'Hall-of-Fame'. Objectives are: undertake initial review of archealogical & anthropological source materials, archealogical field survey & documentation of Aboriginal sites, undertake ethnographic investigations into contemporary significance of the site area. This project Works may include the rezoning of the subject site which may comprise 3 distinct & self contained operations within the site with a total of 6 buildings with aggregate floorspace area of approximately 9170 sqm. These separate operations are Action Mining, Smith Broughton & Hampton Transport.
