ALCAN GOVE BAUXITE OPERATIONS - REFINERY EXPANSION - INFRASTRUCTURE
Mining - Civil Services (Water distribution & pipelines, borefields) New project at Gove Peninsula, North West Arnhem Land via, Nhulunbuy, NT 0880. This type is Infrastructure with Private ownership. Refinery expansion will increase production from a current 2 Mt/y to 3.8Mt/y in 2007. All new process areas will be concrete bunded with sumps installed. Stormwater drainage and utilities will be extended to all new areas and facilities. The existing sewerage treatment facility will be upgraded by the addition of seperate reticulation and package sewerage plants. Proposed expansion includes stockpiling and handling. Bauxite will not be exported from Gove anymore but will be directed to the refinery. Stockpile sizes will remain the same, but stacker and feed conveyor systems will be upgraded or replaced and the refinery reclaimer will also be replaced. Three new grinding mills will be installed to replace the old rod and ball mills. One new mill slurry tank and pump transfer system together with one train of indirect mill slurry equipment will be installed. The heated feed will now be processed in a new high temperature double digestion process. A third low temperature digestion plant will be installed, as well as deep-cone thickners and high pressure pumps. The mud and liquor residue will be seperated in pressure decanters and processed through a train of new high rate washers and a single train of five deep cone thickners. The existing washers and thickners will be used for storage of residue liquids. Some will be demolished. Six new vertical pressure filters will be installed in a new security filtation area to process most of the turbid liquor flow from the thickners. Agglomeration precipitators and growth precipitators will be added to increase capacity as well as two interstage cooling facilities will be installed on each growth precipitator train. Flash vessels and a barometric condenser will be installed using cooling water from new cooling towers. A new hydrocyclone classification system with three classification stages allowing three different sized hydrate streams to be produced will be installed. A new filtration area and equipment will be installed to conduct filtration of various hydrate streams. Equipment will include six drum filters, vacum pumps and air blowers. Three new stationary calciners will be installed in conjunction with new hydrate conveyors and upgraded aluminia transfer systems. A new evaporation plant will be installed as well as cooling towers for vapour removal in the last three flash stages. Lime plant capacity will be increased from 140 t/h to 200 t/h by installing a new burner system and modifying the kiln's internal geometry. A new burnt lime storage silo will be installed. The existing power station will be converted from fuel oil to gas that will involve a new boiler and associated turbine units. The neutralisation plant will include a mixing tank and two thickners in a bunded area. New liquor purification plant will be constructed involving two seperate plants for the mixing and drying stage. Click for more details...

DUKETON REGIONAL GOLD PROJECT - MOOLART WELL
Resource - Gold project at 100 km North of, Laverton, WA 6440 In The Council Area Of Laverton of Private. The new estimate is 25 095kt at 0.46g/t for 375koz Au. The mining method have been chosen to best suit the style of gold mineralisation and provide the optimal movement rates: excavator and haul trucks. The developer will be manager for the mining-related construction activities (including ROM pad and haul road construction), maintenance during mining operations and the supply of lighting and pumping equipment. The process plant will comprise crushing, crushed ore stockpile and reclaim facility, grinding, gravity separations, leach and CIL adsorption, elution and regeneration and a gold room. The treatment plant is designed for a nominal 300tph milling rate and capacity of 2 000 000 tonnes per year. Run of mine (ROM) ore will be fed to the crushing plant at a design rate of 408tph and stored on the crushed ore stockpile. A maximum capacity of 450 tph has been allowed within the crushing circuit to cater for softer or and increased mill throughput. A gravity separation circuit is included in the design to enhance the recovery of gold that concentrates in the cyclone underflow system. The leach and CIL adsorption circuit design is based on the mill feed grade of 2.0 g/t Au and 20% gravity gold recovery. Tailings will be thickened using a high rate thickener with the underflow being pumped to the tailings storage facility (TSF). Water shall be reclaimed via a central decant and returned to the process facility. gold recovery by electrowinning. Dore and gold bearing product will be stored in the secure goldroom which has electronic surveillance systems installed. Raw water will be supplied from the mine dewatering network or from dedicated bores. Process water will be stored adjacent to the plant in a polyethylene lined process water dam. The following reagents will be required in the process and suitable systems for storage and controlled dosing have been provided in the process design: sodium cyanide, oxygen, quicklime, sodium hydroxide (Caustic Soda) and hydrochloric acid. The process facility will be controlled from PC based HMI systems located in the two control rooms for all other operations. Other infrastructure to include mine access roads (29kms new and approximately 90km upgrade), airstrip (suitable for Dash 8 100 - 36 persons), accommodation camp (140 persons), borefield, earthworks for process plant, accommodation camp, access road and access tracks, mechanical infrastructure for the process plant including potable water supply, sewerage treatment plants (camp and process plant), RO plant (potable water), process plant buildings and workshop, power station and light vehicle fuel storage facility and site communication system, administration offices, workshops and stores, mechanical infrastructure for the mine including fuel storage facility, heavy vehicle workshop and stores, heavy vehicle wash bay, tailings storage facility (TSF), electrical power supply via diesel operated power station (Build/Own/Operate) and light mobile vehicles. WAROONA MINERAL SANDS PROJECT - RESOURCE

CURTIS ISLAND LNG (QCLNG) PROJECT - LNG PLANT
Currently at the Construction stage In Gladstone Regional is a project estimated to be $ 8000000000. This project QCLNG is a project to develop coal seam gas wells in the Surat & Bowen Basins, pipe gas to a processing plant to be built on Curtis Island & then export product LNG by ship. The LNG plant to have an ultimate capacity of up to 12 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) from 3 LNG trains, each of 3 to 4 Mtpa production capacity. These involve feed gas metering & filtration to remove entrained pipeline debris; gas processing to remove carbon dioxide & other components contained in the gas; gas chilling & drying in a 3-bed molecular sieve system to remove the final traces of water;dry gas processing through activated carbon bed system for mercury removal & gas refrigeration for liquefaction to LNG . The refrigeration systems to be powered by gas turbines equipped with dry low NOx emission systems; heat removal (as part of the liquefaction process) using fin coolers. Onshore LNG storage in tanks including 2 LNG storage tanks up to 200,000cu m for the first 2 trains & a tank of similar size for the third train; 1 butane storage tank up to 100,000cu m (including vapour recovery system) for imported butane required for spiking LNG product to meet a required high heating value (HHV) along with ancillary equipment & infrastructure including flares. Storage of refrigerant as well diesel fuel, lube oil etc. Associated infrastructure to include fuel gas systems; effluent treatment & outfall for treated wastewater, power generation/distribution; fire protection systems; water systems including seawater desalination plant for process & potable water supply. Additional buildings to include compressor control building, analyser shelter, maintenance buildings, offices and staff amenities building. A temporary pioneer construction camp to accommodate 100-300 people expected to be built within the LNG facility area before early site preparation activities for the first LNG train. This camp will be replaced by a larger construction camp on Curtis Island and/or on the mainland during the LNG Facility construction to house a workforce of 3000 approx people. The construction camp expected to include necessary amenities such as a dining hall & kitchen, a primary health care facility & recreation centre. PILBARA 333 IRON ORE OPERATIONS EXPANSION PROJECT
A project in the WA Within Various. A project to increase Pilbara iron operations capacity from 220million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) to 330Mtpa. CAVAL RIDGE COAL PROJECT - COAL PREPARATION PLANT & RAIL FACILITIES
Mining - Civil Services (Water distribution & pipelines, borefields) project at 16km south of, Moranbah, QLD 4744 of Coal Preparation Plant/Rail Loadout/Conveyor/Roads type of New development. The proposed Caval Ridge CHPP will have a nominal feed capacity of 2 000 t/h and is capable of processing 14-16 Mt/a to produce a nominal 8 Mt/a of hard coking coal, 5.5 Mt/a of which will be sourced from the Caval Ridge Mine & the balance to come by conveyor from the expanded Peak Downs mine. The facility shall operate seven days per week on a continuous basis. The CHPP will consist of: ROM dump hopper for primary sizing; secondary and tertiary sizers with intermediate screening; raw coal stockpiles with mechanised stacking and reclaim facilities; 2 module coal preparation plant, nominally 1000 tph, per module; product coal stockpiles with mechanised stacking and reclaim facilities; train loadout to the north of the Peak Downs Highway, a conveyor will transport material crossing the highway; reject bin and handling system and ultrafine tailings dewatering system. Water supply to be a combination of site water reuse & a raw water supply via a new off take pipeline from existing bulk pipelines. Process plant water will be recycled to minimise raw water make-up requirements for the site. LIDDELL COAL OPERATIONS EXPANSION

A project for a 5 year life-of-mine (LoM) extension by expanding the existing South pit followed by expansion of the Entrance pit after which a new MIA pit to be developed involving relocation of the current mine infrastructure area. Construction of a new conveyor & transfer point to link to the existing overland conveyor to allow transfer of up to 1.5 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) of coal to the Ravensworth coal handling & preparation plant (CHPP) now that the demolished Cumnock CHPP is no longer available to take excess run-of-mine (ROM) coal. A new 50,000t stockpile at the new conveyor & expansion of the existing ROM stockpile capacity to 200,000t as well as a new tailings emplacement area in the South Pit void.
