Currently at the Construction stage In Mackay Regional is a project estimated to be $ 1000000. This project To reduce risks of dry periods. The pipeline will run between Coppabella and a large source of water. This pipeline could also benefit the Monto coal project. ALCAN GOVE BAUXITE OPERATIONS - REFINERY EXPANSION - INFRASTRUCTURE
Mining - Civil Services (Water distribution & pipelines, borefields) New project at Gove Peninsula, North West Arnhem Land via, Nhulunbuy, NT 0880. This type is Infrastructure with Private ownership. Refinery expansion will increase production from a current 2 Mt/y to 3.8Mt/y in 2007. All new process areas will be concrete bunded with sumps installed. Stormwater drainage and utilities will be extended to all new areas and facilities. The existing sewerage treatment facility will be upgraded by the addition of seperate reticulation and package sewerage plants. Proposed expansion includes stockpiling and handling. Bauxite will not be exported from Gove anymore but will be directed to the refinery. Stockpile sizes will remain the same, but stacker and feed conveyor systems will be upgraded or replaced and the refinery reclaimer will also be replaced. Three new grinding mills will be installed to replace the old rod and ball mills. One new mill slurry tank and pump transfer system together with one train of indirect mill slurry equipment will be installed. The heated feed will now be processed in a new high temperature double digestion process. A third low temperature digestion plant will be installed, as well as deep-cone thickners and high pressure pumps. The mud and liquor residue will be seperated in pressure decanters and processed through a train of new high rate washers and a single train of five deep cone thickners. The existing washers and thickners will be used for storage of residue liquids. Some will be demolished. Six new vertical pressure filters will be installed in a new security filtation area to process most of the turbid liquor flow from the thickners. Agglomeration precipitators and growth precipitators will be added to increase capacity as well as two interstage cooling facilities will be installed on each growth precipitator train. Flash vessels and a barometric condenser will be installed using cooling water from new cooling towers. A new hydrocyclone classification system with three classification stages allowing three different sized hydrate streams to be produced will be installed. A new filtration area and equipment will be installed to conduct filtration of various hydrate streams. Equipment will include six drum filters, vacum pumps and air blowers. Three new stationary calciners will be installed in conjunction with new hydrate conveyors and upgraded aluminia transfer systems. A new evaporation plant will be installed as well as cooling towers for vapour removal in the last three flash stages. Lime plant capacity will be increased from 140 t/h to 200 t/h by installing a new burner system and modifying the kiln's internal geometry. A new burnt lime storage silo will be installed. The existing power station will be converted from fuel oil to gas that will involve a new boiler and associated turbine units. The neutralisation plant will include a mixing tank and two thickners in a bunded area. New liquor purification plant will be constructed involving two seperate plants for the mixing and drying stage. Click for more details...

YABULU NICKEL REFINERY EXTENSION - COOLING WATER TOWER CONTRACT

The existing standby turbine alternator will be changed to generate power as required in conjuction with other units on site. The low pressure steam exhausted from the turbine in addition to other steam supplies on site will be reticulated throughout the site to the new plant for heating and process requirements. HOPE DOWNS IRON ORE PROJECT - DEWATERING

Work comprises the construction of the dewatering pipeline and discharge facilities for the Hope north pit. WAROONA MINERAL SANDS PROJECT - RESOURCE
Mining - Civil Services (Water distribution & pipelines, borefields) project for New development. Current mineable reserve is approx 8.4 million tonnes with an average grade of 10.2% heavy mineral. The mine will process 2,600,000 tonnes of ore per annum. Major work will comprise stripping of the overburden, upgrading and relocation of a wet concentrator plant and nfrastructure. Development will comprise topsoil stripping, overburden removal, installation of drainage and noise bunds, hauls roads, offices, workshops, construction of a clean water dam and associated infrastructure. GRANITES GOLD MINE - TAILING STORAGE FACILITY

DRAYTON COAL OPERATIONS EXTENSION PROJECT
Mining - Civil Services (Water distribution & pipelines, borefields) project for New development. Mining of an additional resource of 30 million tonnes from the Greta Coal Measures (targeting the Rowan formation) at a rate of up to 8 Mtpa to extend the mine life to 2017. The extension of mining will predominantly progress to the South of current operations; however, additional areas within the North and East of the project area are also proposed to be mined. The project will require some additional items of equipment to accommodate an increased rate of production such as: 1 x excavator, 3 x track dozers, 5 x 280 tonne rear dump trucks, 1 x additional drill, grader and watercart, plus other minor ancillary equipment. The existing Coal Handling Plant (CHP) & associated stockpile reclamation system will be upgraded in order to align the facilities with the proposed increase in annual production. A new 80 000 tonnes product coal stockpile & a 40 000 tonne domestic product coal stockpile are proposed to further assist production efficiencies. Minor changes to Drayton's water management system are also proposed to maximise water management & use at the mine. Drayton will continue to utilise dragline, excavators, loaders and a fleet of trucks to both uncover the coal & transport it to on-site processing and load-out facilities. Blasting will continue to be required to assist with overburden & coal extraction. Drayton will continue to utilise existing infrastructure such as administration offices, workshops, parking facilities, conveyors, coal handling facilities and coal stockpiles. A project to create a mining complex incorporating neighbouring open cut & underground operations at Ravensworth West, Narama and Cumnock No 1 Colliery & the surface facilities associated with Ravensworth Underground Mine (RUM) for mining up to 16million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) of Run-Of-Mine (ROM) coal over an expected Life-of-mine (LOM) of 29 years. Establishment south of Davis Creek & west of Bayswater Creek of the new Ravensworth North Pit. Open cut operations to continue to involve prestripping, drill & blast overburden removal, coal extraction through blasting or bulldozer, transportation of the ROM coal by truck to stockpiles & then by conveyor to a local power station (Macquarie Generation) or the Ravensworth Coal Terminal (RCT). Expansion of the product coal capacity of the existing northerly Ravensworth Coal Handling & Preparation Plant (RCHPP) & RCT loadout facility to 20Mtpa. CAVAL RIDGE COAL PROJECT - COAL PREPARATION PLANT & RAIL FACILITIES
Mining - Civil Services (Water distribution & pipelines, borefields) project at 16km south of, Moranbah, QLD 4744 of Coal Preparation Plant/Rail Loadout/Conveyor/Roads type of New development. The proposed Caval Ridge CHPP will have a nominal feed capacity of 2 000 t/h and is capable of processing 14-16 Mt/a to produce a nominal 8 Mt/a of hard coking coal, 5.5 Mt/a of which will be sourced from the Caval Ridge Mine & the balance to come by conveyor from the expanded Peak Downs mine. The facility shall operate seven days per week on a continuous basis. The CHPP will consist of: ROM dump hopper for primary sizing; secondary and tertiary sizers with intermediate screening; raw coal stockpiles with mechanised stacking and reclaim facilities; 2 module coal preparation plant, nominally 1000 tph, per module; product coal stockpiles with mechanised stacking and reclaim facilities; train loadout to the north of the Peak Downs Highway, a conveyor will transport material crossing the highway; reject bin and handling system and ultrafine tailings dewatering system. Water supply to be a combination of site water reuse & a raw water supply via a new off take pipeline from existing bulk pipelines.
