DALRYMPLE BAY COAL TERMINAL - FURTHER EXPANSION
Mining - Infrastructure (Wharfs, Piers, Port facilities, Piling, Dredging) project at Hay Point Rd, Hay Point, QLD 4740 of Coal Terminal - Expansion type of New development. First phase will take capacity to 68 million tonnes by July 2007. More specifically work onshore will involve a new out loading conveyor system from the stockyard feeding to a new surge bin and sample plant complex (surge bin 3). This will feed to a new shuttling head conveyor that can feed either of the two existing jetty conveyors and a third future conveyor. Offshore work involves a new conveyor L15 gallery structure, a 10 metre widening of the existing jetty by addition of a third pile and an extension of the existing steel headstock at each bent. A new access roadway in between conveyors L5 and L15 to provide maintenance access to L15. An extension of existing conveyor L17 tail. A new drive tower and transfer tower at the head of L15, supported upon a piled platform that will also provide for roadway access to this area and relocated transformers. ABBOT POINT COAL TERMINAL EXPANSION STAGE 3
Mining - Infrastructure (Wharfs, Piers, Port facilities, Piling, Dredging) project at Abbot Point 25 km north west of, Bowen, QLD 4805 of Coal Terminal Expansion - Stage 3 type of New development. Expansion of terminal capacity from 15 mtpa to 50 mtpa. Key components of the stage 3 expansion will involve the construction of a second berth, a second rail loop and train dump facilities and associated second in loading conveyor. Installation of a new stockyard bund and two new stockpile rows. Up to three new stacker reclaimers and a new yard conveyor and transfer towers will be installed. A second outloading conveyor to the offshore berth, using the existing jetty structure will be installed. Installation of a second offshore berth and a second shiploader on the new berth. CURTIS ISLAND LNG PLANT (QCLNG) PROJECT - SHIPPING FACILITIES
Curtis Island Lng Plant (Qclng) Project - Shipping Facilities is currently at the Construction stage, valued at about $ 60000000 it is The proposal covers the construction, operation and decommissioning of the LNG Marine Facilities on Curtis Island and the mainland. The facilities include, but are not limited to: a dedicated jetty containing specialised LNG loading facilities and LNG tanker berth(s) to transfer LNG; the jetty consisting of a driven-pile trestle structure, connected a berth(s) with mooring dolphins and breasting dolphins; the jetty will support loading facilities consisting of piping, utilities and loading arms; unloading arms located at the berth to unload imported butane for spiking the LNG; the jetty and berth(s) will be designed to accommodate LNG tankers up to "Q Max" size and will extend out to the 14-15 metre isobath to provide adequate under-keel clearance between the tankers hull and the sea bottom; construction docks to dispatch and receive heavy equipment, including pre-assembled process modules from ships directly or on barge vessels travelling between the mainland and Curtis Island; construction dock design may consist of a causeway or a trestle structure and may be temporary, for the period of construction of all three LNG trains and permanent Ferry Terminals at both the LNG Plant and on the mainland in order to transport construction and operations personnel. Temporary construction docks may remain and be utilised for passenger Ferry Terminal facilities. Due to the benign wave climate, a breakwater is not required. Click for more details...

HAY POINT COAL TERMINAL EXPANSION - HPX3 - BERTH 3 & ONSHORE FACILITIES
A project in the QLD Within Mackay Regional. Construction of a new berth wharf (Berth 3) and shiploader (Shiploader 3/SL3). Construction of 2 new outloading trestle conveyors on a new offshore trestle complete with access roadway. Construction of offshore link conveyors to existing Berths 1 & 2 & the proposed Berth 3 from the new outloading trestle conveyors. Reclamation of land (9.4ha) to the northeast of the existing stockyard area to facilitate the construction of new onshore outloading systems. Construction of two new onshore outloading systems, associated transfer towers & surge bins to feed the new trestle conveyors, generally constructed on the newly reclaimed land area. Demolition & removal of the existing outloading conveyors, including demolition of the existing trestle & roadway structure. Demolition & removal of the 2 existing onshore outloading systems including conveyors, transfer towers & surge bins. Modification of existing stockyard conveyors to feed the new onshore outloading systems by extension of their head ends & construction of new transfer towers. Associated facilities expected to include a construction jetty; an LNG dock & jetty to handle vessels up to 200,000cu m; cryogenic pipelines; LNG storage tanks up to 210,000cu m capacity & 400km approx pipeline with spur lines.
