The NSW Government's Plan for Land Releases in the North West & South West Sectors is one of the major chapters in the Metropolitan Strategy. Innovative planing for these release areas will provide: Better public transport with frequent buses that link into the rail system. A range of land uses to provide the right mix of houses, jobs, open & recreational facilities & services along with smaller village centres & neighbourhood shops. Local jobs within the region, reducing the demand for transport services in the CBD & cutting travel times. Streets & suburbs planned so that residents can walk to shops for their daily needs.
