An International Ideas and Design competition is being conducted by the Office of Design and Architecture SA (ODASA) in partnership with Renewal SA, to seek ideas from the professional design community for the future of the hospital site. In parallel, Renewal SA is building an evidence base to assess reuse and redevelopment options for the hospital and surrounds. Renewal SA will lead the planning and delivery of renewal of the subject site. Renewal SA is seeking the services of an engineering-led team to provide technical advice and context to inform detailed master planning for the current RAH site. The team will demonstrate a strong understanding of the challenges of site renewal and redevelopment, including replacement or adaptation of existing buildings and structures, services and infrastructure. The advice sought will build on past investigations and studies. The successful team will be provided with relevant past studies, including a RAH Site Vision by Woodhead and Site Infrastructure Division Study completed by System Solutions Engineering Pty Ltd in 2012. The latter study provides an assessment of buildings which have been identified for retention in the short to long term and what is required to ensure these buildings can continue to operate. The study also involved the development of scenarios and costs for retention of selected buildings. Investigations undertaken as part of this study included architectural and structural assessments; mechan ical, electrical and hydraulic services; ICT infrastructure; flood risk and fire protection; and stormwater drainage. MARGARET DOWLING CREEK INLET & WETLANDS - PHASE 2

The Principal invites tenders from Tenders for the provision of Margaret Dowling Creek Inlet & Wetlands Phase 2 construction management services. The construction management services sought will support the delivery of the following two projects: Margaret Dowling Creek Inlet - As part of the South Australian Riverland Floodplains Integrated Infrastructure Program 9SARFIIP) Early Works, a new inlet to the Pike River Floodplain at Margaret Dowling Creek has been designed & approval given to tender for construction. Margaret Dowling Creek is located 3.5km east of Renmark Paringa. Most of the designed works will be in Bert Dix Park, which is approximately 100m south of the Renmark Paringa road bridge. Proposed construction works will comprise: a) Demolition & reconstruction of Lock 5 Road bridge; b) Construction of a new flow regulator & fishway; c) Demolition of an existing flow regulator; d) Design & Construction of a new footbridge; & e) Reinstatement of high value amenity park land. JERVOIS STREET RESERVE DEVELOPMENT
Jervois Street Reserve Development is currently at the Construction stage, valued at about $ 2000000 it is The Principal invites tenders for the provision to construction a new precinct level reserve. Site: Jervois St Reserve - Scope of works bordered to the south by Jervois St & to the north by Waterhouse Rd, Street number 37-47, South Plympton. Council has endorsed a Concept Plan & funds have been allocated in the 2015/16 financial year to construct a new precinct level reserve. Council approved the acquisition of land at Jervois St, South Plympton in June 2013 comprising 6 allotments (approximately 6000m2) which has street frontages on Jervois St & Waterhouse Rd, South Plympton. The land was previously owned by Housing SA. Initial community engagement occurred between July & August 2014. community members were invited through various workshops to help shape the design of the new park. Ideas generated through the workshops were used to inform the development of the draft concept design for the site. This draft concept design was presented to the community for their final feedback through the latest round of consultation. Council further considered & endorsed the draft Concept Plan on 24 March 2015. Council has applied for Development Assessment approval, however approval has not yet been provided at the time of tender release. The scope of work is subject to obtaining final Development Assessment approval. Dog Friendly Gawler - On & Off Leash Park Planning Consultancy is currently at the Construction stage, valued at about $ 400000 it is The Principal invites tenders for the provision of investigation, community engagement & design/cost of dog friendly parks & a dedicated dog park for the Town of Gawler. The aim of this tender is to source a consultant who will: a) Identify & recommend suitable locations of a Dog Friendly Park & On & Off leash areas in the Gawler area for dog owners; & b) Undertake a planning review & a community engagement program. The Town of Gawler Animal Management Plan 2014-2017 outlines the objectives & the key result areas in relation to animal management. The implementation of a dog friendly park & on & off leash areas fall within the key result areas of the Gawler Animal Management Plan 2014-2107: a) Investigate the feasibility of the development of a designated dog park, including cost & location & make a recommendation to Council; b) Recommend to Council that all Town of Gawler parks (as defined by the Act) become areas where dog must be restrained on a leash & by exception consider some parks where dogs can be off leash; c) Investigate Town of Gawler local government land where & when dogs may be prohibited & make a recommendation to Council; d) Install advisory signage at all areas identified as dog off least & dog prohibited areas. The plan & review process will take into consideration the Gawler Community Plan 2014-2024.
