RAINE SQUARE REDEVELOPMENT
Raine Square Redevelopment is currently at the Construction stage, valued at about $ 300000000 it is Construction of mixed use office & retail development on "Raine Square" site. Existing heritage buildings will be retained on perimeters of site (with some modifications) while more recent retail additions to site will be demolished. Proposed development will consist of 10,000 sq m retail podium containing arcade over 3 levels with speciality tenancies, food hall & supermarket. Main materials consist of aluminium & contrasting glass colours with glass being of high performance rating. New 3 storey commercial building is proposed at corner of Murray & Queen Sts with bar/cafe fronting onto public space. New arcade entry off William St (in same position where existing one is located) is proposed with separate office entrance lobby. Three parking levels are proposed at ground & basement levels, with 184 short-stay public car parking bays & 195 tenant car parking bays providing total of 379 ca bays.
