Rail Infrastructure New project In The Port Hedland Council Area. Feasibility study has recommended a a 255 km railway line from Cloud Break to Port Headland port facility. A mine load out facility will be located at Cloud Break. There will be four train sets each comprising two locomotives and two hundred wagons. Supporting infrastructure will include sidings, passing bays and loading loops, train loader, temporary construction facilities, temporary track camps, administration offices and warehouses, trip servicing facilities, service and repair workshop, rail maintenance track, rail loops and marshalling yards, maintenance facilities, substations and communication systems. The proposed line does deviate where there are environmental, heritage and engineering constraints. Stage A PER covers the Port and North to South rail line. The Stage B PER covers the East to West rail spur.

At, Finucane Island, WA 6721 Has Iron Ore Rapid Growth Project 3 - Port Infrastructure currently at Construction stage. Development comprises construction a new single stockyard row in area S, the Eastern Yard including a new stacker and new reclaimer. Constructing a new dedicated Return Screened Fines stockpile adjacent to Car Dumper 4 including new stacker and new reclaimer. Joining the existing Berths C & D together to allow existing shiploaders SLO3 and SLO4 to access either berth. Modifications to the long travel of shiploaders SLO3 and SLO4 so they can travel and shipload on Berth C and D. Upgrading and rebuilding the existing Berth C to accommodate shiploader SLO4 and 250,000 DWT vessels, modify the exisitng control system to suit the new operating regime, improve dust control measures, upgrade electrical infrastructure to suit the proposed development, upgrade the exisiting general infrastructure including upgrading a warhouse building , upgrading roads and constructing a new water recovery plant. The existing existing environmental berm will be extend to provide a visual buffer to the town of Port Hedland on the other side of the harbour from the new eastern stockyard. Construction of temporary lay down areas and buildings for the contractors and temporary construction offices for BHP and EPCM staff. Borrow pits will be developed for the taking of material for construction purposes. A new 66 Kv power line will also be constructed and installed.

BROKEN HILL SEPARATION PLANT UPGRADE
Currently at the Planning stage In Broken Hill is a project estimated to be $ 36000000. This project The upgrade of the separation plant is proposed to take into account the development of the nearby Snapper project. Upgrades will be undertaken for the plant itself and associated infrastructure. The plant upgrades planned are the additions of a rutile circuit and a zircon circuit. An option to locate a Wet High Intensity Magnetic Separator circuit from the mine site is also proposed. These addition will production to increase from 576,000 tpa to 650,000 tpa. The rutile, ilmenite and zircon circuit feed and rejects stockpiles will all be expanded. The non-magnetic concentrate heavy mineral concentrate receival area will also be expanded. The capacity of the two coal container storages will be expanded from 1000 tonnes to 1500 tonnes.

QSN LINK GAS PIPELINE
Private ownership Mining - Support Facilities (Accommodation - units, housing, group accom.) project In The Not Yet Determined Council Area for New development. The QSN Link pipeline will extend south-west from the Ballera Gas facility in Queensland. It will pass approximately 7km to the south of Innamincka in South Australia and terminate at the Moomba plant. The pipeline will be some 180km in length, with approximately 90km in Queensland and 91.5km in South Australia. The pipeline will be typical of a modern, small to medium diameter gas transmission pipeline. Final design parameters are yet to be determined, but it is likely to involve the following infrastructure: a buried, high pressure, steel, natural gas pipeline, with a diameter in the order of 400mm, an inlet station at Ballera, above ground facilities at intervals along the pipeline include a mid-line mainline valve, cathodic protection systems and marker signs and an outlet delivery station at Moomba. The construction workforce will be accommodated in temporary camps and at local accommodation. two preliminary campsite locations have been selected which will accommodate a single camp that will be mobilised from one location to the other during the construction phase of the project. construction depots will be used primarily for equipment storage and will typically be co-located with the construction camps. Facilities and equipment stored at the construction depots may include: site office and administration centre, construction vehicles, diesel fuel and lubricants, vehicle maintenance equipment, sand bags, sediment fencing, star droppers and wooden stakes and pipe wrapping and joint coating materials. When the utility is no longer required, the pipeline will be decommissioned in accordance with the regulatory requirements and accepted environmental best practices at the time. currently decommissioning procedures require the removal of all above ground infrastructure and the restoration of associated disturbed areas.

DRAYTON COAL OPERATIONS EXTENSION PROJECT
Mining - Support Facilities (Industrial buildings) project for New development. Mining of an additional resource of 30 million tonnes from the Greta Coal Measures (targeting the Rowan formation) at a rate of up to 8 Mtpa to extend the mine life to 2017. The extension of mining will predominantly progress to the South of current operations; however, additional areas within the North and East of the project area are also proposed to be mined. The project will require some additional items of equipment to accommodate an increased rate of production such as: 1 x excavator, 3 x track dozers, 5 x 280 tonne rear dump trucks, 1 x additional drill, grader and watercart, plus other minor ancillary equipment. The existing Coal Handling Plant (CHP) & associated stockpile reclamation system will be upgraded in order to align the facilities with the proposed increase in annual production. A new 80 000 tonnes product coal stockpile & a 40 000 tonne domestic product coal stockpile are proposed to further assist production efficiencies. Minor changes to Drayton's water management system are also proposed to maximise water management & use at the mine. Drayton will continue to utilise dragline, excavators, loaders and a fleet of trucks to both uncover the coal & transport it to on-site processing and load-out facilities. Blasting will continue to be required to assist with overburden & coal extraction. Drayton will continue to utilise existing infrastructure such as administration offices, workshops, parking facilities, conveyors, coal handling facilities and coal stockpiles.

CURTIS ISLAND LNG (QCLNG) PROJECT

QCLNG is a project to develop coal seam gas (CSG) fields in the Surat & Bowen Basins, pipe gas to a processing plant to be built on Curtis Island & then export product liquefied natural gas (LNG) by ship. This type is Operating Gas Field - Expansion with Private ownership. A project to develop the existing Moranbah gas field which comprises over 500 production wells & mostly buried gas/water flowlines with compressors leading to water facilities (15 dams, a water treatment facility under construction) & the Moranbah Gas Processing Facility (PL191). Further development to include drilling of 5 exploration wells & 6 appraisal wells with associated water handling systems including flowlines & 5 small (10ML) aggregation dams to store well head water. Drilling also of over 100 fenced, steel & concrete cased production wells each comprising a wellhead, electric drive rotating screw pump, wellhead gas/water separator & control valve as well as monitoring, metering & communications equipment. Typically the wells will be chevron style with surface-to-in-seam horizontal/lateral wells requiring up to 3 pads each but some will be multi-branch lateral wells linked from 2 separate pads. Gathering lines to be buried 53-500mm diameter high density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe. Associated infrastructure to include access tracks, overhead powerlines (for wellhead & compressor facilities), borrow pits, quarries & storage areas. Construction also of up to 4 large (400-600ML) dams for treated water, up to 3 brine storages & groundwater monitoring bores. Any accommodation camps to be developed over the project to include canteen facilities, communications, vehicle maintenance & parking areas, fuel handling & storage areas sewerage treatment.
