QSN LINK GAS PIPELINE
Private ownership Oil & Gas (Pipelines & associated contracts) project In The Not Yet Determined Council Area for New development. The QSN Link pipeline will extend south-west from the Ballera Gas facility in Queensland. It will pass approximately 7km to the south of Innamincka in South Australia and terminate at the Moomba plant. The pipeline will be some 180km in length, with approximately 90km in Queensland and 91.5km in South Australia. The pipeline will be typical of a modern, small to medium diameter gas transmission pipeline. Final design parameters are yet to be determined, but it is likely to involve the following infrastructure: a buried, high pressure, steel, natural gas pipeline, with a diameter in the order of 400mm, an inlet station at Ballera, above ground facilities at intervals along the pipeline include a mid-line mainline valve, cathodic protection systems and marker signs and an outlet delivery station at Moomba. The construction workforce will be accommodated in temporary camps and at local accommodation. two preliminary campsite locations have been selected which will accommodate a single camp that will be mobilised from one location to the other during the construction phase of the project. construction depots will be used primarily for equipment storage and will typically be co-located with the construction camps. Facilities and equipment stored at the construction depots may include: site office and administration centre, construction vehicles, diesel fuel and lubricants, vehicle maintenance equipment, sand bags, sediment fencing, star droppers and wooden stakes and pipe wrapping and joint coating materials. When the utility is no longer required, the pipeline will be decommissioned in accordance with the regulatory requirements and accepted environmental best practices at the time. currently decommissioning procedures require the removal of all above ground infrastructure and the restoration of associated disturbed areas. CURTIS ISLAND LNG (QCLNG) PROJECT - LNG PLANT
Currently at the Construction stage In Gladstone Regional is a project estimated to be $ 8000000000. This project QCLNG is a project to develop coal seam gas wells in the Surat & Bowen Basins, pipe gas to a processing plant to be built on Curtis Island & then export product LNG by ship. The LNG plant to have an ultimate capacity of up to 12 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) from 3 LNG trains, each of 3 to 4 Mtpa production capacity. These involve feed gas metering & filtration to remove entrained pipeline debris; gas processing to remove carbon dioxide & other components contained in the gas; gas chilling & drying in a 3-bed molecular sieve system to remove the final traces of water;dry gas processing through activated carbon bed system for mercury removal & gas refrigeration for liquefaction to LNG . The refrigeration systems to be powered by gas turbines equipped with dry low NOx emission systems; heat removal (as part of the liquefaction process) using fin coolers. Onshore LNG storage in tanks including 2 LNG storage tanks up to 200,000cu m for the first 2 trains & a tank of similar size for the third train; 1 butane storage tank up to 100,000cu m (including vapour recovery system) for imported butane required for spiking LNG product to meet a required high heating value (HHV) along with ancillary equipment & infrastructure including flares. Storage of refrigerant as well diesel fuel, lube oil etc. Associated infrastructure to include fuel gas systems; effluent treatment & outfall for treated wastewater, power generation/distribution; fire protection systems; water systems including seawater desalination plant for process & potable water supply. Additional buildings to include compressor control building, analyser shelter, maintenance buildings, offices and staff amenities building. A temporary pioneer construction camp to accommodate 100-300 people expected to be built within the LNG facility area before early site preparation activities for the first LNG train. This camp will be replaced by a larger construction camp on Curtis Island and/or on the mainland during the LNG Facility construction to house a workforce of 3000 approx people. The construction camp expected to include necessary amenities such as a dining hall & kitchen, a primary health care facility & recreation centre. Other services & camp infrastructure to include a water treatment plant & storage, sewerage treatment plant, temporary power supply, fuel storage facility & fire-fighting equipment, some of which will remain as permanent facilities for the operations phase. SOUTH WEST QUEENSLAND PIPELINE STAGE 3 EXPANSION

As part of the QSN Link project (QSN3), construction of a 935km loop pipeline parallel to the existing South West Queensland Pipeline (SWQP) between Wallumbilla & Moomba. Construction also at the Wallumbilla hub of 2 additional compressor stations at existing scraper station sites & an upgrade to the existing Wallumbilla compressor station. The pipeline is anticipated to have a diameter of between 400-500mm approx. Construction crews will be housed in temporary construction camps that will be progressively moved ahead of construction activity. TALINGA DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
Oil & Gas (Onshore processing facilities) project In The Western Downs Regional Council Area of Resource - Coal Seam Gas type. The project involves transitioning the existing pilot trial of 12 wells to production of up to 90TJ/day of coal seam gas, which will contribute to the supply of gas to the Darling Downs Power Station. The development will involve installing coal seam gas wells at a spacing of between 750m and 1000m; associated gas and water gathering systems, a gas plant, a produced water treatment facility, evaporation ponds, offices, storage areas, workshops, camp and gravel pits. Based on current well production predictions, this equates to the installation of approximately 100 coal seam gas wells. This project will incorporate a water treatment facility to significantly reduce the evaporation pond surface area down to approximately 170ha. The water treatment facility will employ an integrated membrane system, including reverse osmosis, to achieve an 85% desalination recovery and create a freshwater resource. The freshwater will be discharged to the Condamine River catchment until higher level beneficial used, such as industrial, urban or agricultural use, can be implemented. Click for more details...

SURAT TO GLADSTONE LNG PIPELINE PROJECT - LINE PIPE SUPPLY

AUSTRALIA PACIFIC LNG (APLNG) PROJECT - GAS PIPELINE

Part of a coal seam gas (CSG) to liquefied natural gas (LNG) project with Origin Energy responsible for developing CSG gas fields & transmission pipeline, ConocoPhillips responsible for developing a LNG processing plant & their joint venture company Australia Pacific LNG responsible for the export facilities. A 42 inch (1070mm) diameter, high pressure main pipeline to commence east of Wandoan at its junction with a 44km lateral pipeline from gas developments at Condabri & a 38km lateral from Woleebee gas developments south of Miles. To travel 362km underground with a marine crossing at The Narrows between Kangaroo Island & Port Curtis Island to finish at the LNG plant near Laird Point. Inlet stations to allow for insertion of cleaning & inspection equipment to be constructed at the start of the Condabri & Woleebee laterals & at their intersection a 0.5ha APLNG hub comprising the inlet station for the main pipeline, isolation valves & connections for future compression to also be constructed. Development of up to 5 x 15-20ha laydown areas to receive materials (Miles, Wandoan, Theodore, Biloela, Gladstone areas). 3 temporary accommodation camps each up to 15ha & operating for 3-7 months to be relocated along the pipeline route as required. Camps to include sleeping quarters for up to 1100 personnel, laundries, catering, medical centre, recreational facilities (eg gymnasium, cinema, reading room, sports grounds), diesel generators for power & package sewerage plants.
